Gavin only followed Joe because he was confident in his ability to fly away if anything went sideways.
As both of them depart the old guy behind them sighed.
"Another young guy will be pushed by the hands of these deprave people."
"Old man, we can't do anything about it though, we are weak and could only watch the injustice happening."
The old man nodded and then went away, and soon enough the crowd also dispersed and started doing what they were doing originally.
Many even forgot about Gavin and the Fat Joe incident like it was a daily accuracy to them.
...
"Can I ask you something?" Joe smiled at Gavin as they both moved toward his base.
"Make it quick." Gavin coldly replied.
Joe clenched his teeth at the little guy's disposition however he didn't get angry as he wanted things to go smoothly. Although extorting money openly was ok, abduction of a teen was different.
"I want to know where did you get your hands on these cores. I can sense that one of them is a Grade Seven and from the looks of it you are only at Grade Three."
Joe looked at him with a raised brow and in expectation of an answer.
"It doesn't matter." Gavin gave him another cold answer which made Joe silent for the rest of the way.
Soon enough both of them reached a godown area where many tents were placed and born fires were lit.
There were also at least twenty more guys there, drinking and chatting. As soon as they saw Joe approaching, all of them stood up and respectfully bowed at him.
"Master Joe."
A guy with long black hair and a black robe approached Joe.
Joe looked at Gavin and smiled. "Rock this is Gavin, he is new to the slums and wants to trade beast cores."
Rock looked at Gavin and nodded at him with a smile.
The guys behind him chuckled.
"Trade? This fool came on his own to his death."
"Hey little guy why don't you leave the cores to Rock and come with me, I can show you around."
The guys taunted.
Rock looked at them and sneered, making them shut their mouth, he then moved towards Gavin while revealing his grade-five cultivation.
"Listen, boy, don't make this hard on yourself, just give up everything you own and I will be lenient on you."
Gavin listened to him and sneered. He then also released his grade three cultivation.
"Listen all of you, if you don't wanna die then hand over everything you have, and I will be lenient on you." He said and pointed at the group.
"Hahaha... This brat! Rock, make him submit and send him to my tent, it's been a while since I have enjoyed a haughty brat like him." Bald Joe said and started moving towards his tent.
After a few seconds, he disappeared into the largest tent.
Rock then sighed and summoned a dagger, which was his spirit.
"Boy, I gave you a chance."
The guys behind him looked at the dagger and smirks appeared on their faces.
"Now no one can save this little soul as Chief Joe has his eyes set on him."
"Hahaha... It's his own fault for being so brazen even though his cultivation is only at grade three."
"Boy, you are in for a great ride, our chief loves breaking boys like you. I am sure he will take great care of you."
Gavin didn't pay any heed to their words and summoned his hammer.
"So you wanna struggle to last." Fire surrounded Rock's dagger as he prepared to attack.
Jack also directed his Qi into his hammer and electricity surrounded his body.
Rock sneered at his pathetic attempt and rushed toward him pointing his dagger at his shoulder. He didn't want to injure him too badly as he was Joe's property.
"That is Rock's fury dash! It is said that even a grade-six guy woudnt leave unscratched after facing it head-on."
"Yes, his dagger can produce flames that could even melt metal. I have once seen him kill seven guys in Grade four with nothing but flames. He melted their bones and flesh with just one sweep."
"This guy stands no chance against him, if I were him I would just quit and accept my fate."
Rock reached Gavin's vicinity, however just as his dagger met with Gavin's hammer his face turned from that of anger to shock.
A high dust cloud arose in the ground and inside it, blue lighting flashed.
It was like a stormy cloud.
The hooligans standing behind all backed up from the shockwave of the impact with their eyes widened in shock.
"Rock might have killed him with that impact."
"No, he can't kill that guy as Chief has his eyes set on him."
"Just look at the shockwave even I would have died in there and I am one grade higher than that kid."
Everyone gulped their saliva in terror as they knew that no one touches Chief's prey and Rock just might have killed the poor guy.
However, soon enough all of their terror turned into extreme shock when they saw a body flying out of the cloud with blood and intestines splattering all over their bodies.
When they noticed the dead body that flew out of the dust cloud their eyes almost flew out of their socket.
"Rock! It's rock!"
One of the guys screamed as his body bathed in blood.
"Ahhhh...." One of the guys that took the collision with the flying body also died instantly with a grunt.
"How is it possible?! How can Rock die?! The flaming demon..."
The other guys also backed up in terror and some even fell to the ground.
"I am sure that the boy was only in Grade three so how could he have killed Rock so easily, even a grade six would find it hard to kill him in an instant."
A guy said and looked at the dust cloud, which was beginning to settle down.
And inside the cloud, they could see the silhouette of a hulking giant covered in blue lightning as buzzing sounds rang in the empty ground.
"A demon! It's a fucking Demon!" A guy in grade four yelled and fell unconscious.
"Run!, inform the chief quickly!"
Another guy yelled and summoned an iron spear to defend himself.
All of the remaining hooligans were only in grade four so they were no problem for Gavin.
One of the guys ran toward Joe's tent, however before he could reach there a lighting strike turned his walking body into a bloody mush.
The other guys when saw, one of their men turning into mush, they stood still as chills ran through their spines.
After a few seconds when the dust cleared that they saw Gavin's giant body.
At the place where previously a frail body was standing now stood a towering giant who looked down at each of them.
All of them gulped their saliva and kneeled down on the floor like they were seeing the God of death himself.
They could tell that the hulking giant was covered in lighting and was none other than the frail-looking boy that they were previously harassing.
"Master please spare us, we didn't know that your power was so great! We will never do something like this again and reform our life." One of the guys with a buzz cut said hammering his head in the ground.
"Yes, we are ready to be your lackeys from now on, just please spare us. It was only because of Master Joe that we came into this line of work." Another one added.
Gavin looked at them and took in a deep breath.
Raising his hammer in the sky he flew above like a death God.
"None of you pieces of shit deserve to live!" He yelled and then a rain of lighting rained hell.
One by one every guy splattered into a pool of blood, they didn't even have time to run for their life.
"Don't be so haughty you piece of shit, Master Joe will kill..." Before the last guy could complete his sentence his flesh also flew around the ground, covering the soil red.
....
Inside the giant tent, Joe has already covered the place with isolating talismans, that prevent sounds from coming inside, he did it so that he could enjoy his time in peace.
In the middle of the tent there was a king-sized bed and at the corner of that bed stood a relatively younger girl, her complexion was pale and the clothes she was wearing were slim to none.
Joe looked at the girl and a giant grin formed on his face.
"Don't be scared little bird, I promise you will enjoy it." He said and moved near her.
With every step he took the girl also took a step back.
Shivers ran down her spine when there was no ground left for her to back up.
Joe reached in front of her and then moved his fingers in her brunette hairs.
His fingers soon reached for her ears.
Tears fell from her eyes as she shivered in dread.
"Please... Please spare me..."
