Chapter 20 - Reverse uno

As Tangero looked at Toni in disbelief, General Toni decided to continue with his ruse. He portrayed himself as a villain and said that he was jealous of Tangero, and had deliberately made him fail his exams. He even called Tangero harsh names, trying to make him hate Toni and remove any suspicion from Tana.

Tangero was hurt and confused by Toni's words. He couldn't believe that his uncle would do something like that. But at the same time, he couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. His mind was racing, trying to make sense of everything that was happening.

As he looked at Toni, he saw a man who was willing to sacrifice his own reputation and pride to protect his sister. It was a selfless act, and Tangero couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt for accusing Toni of being a traitor.

He took a deep breath and said, "Uncle, I'm sorry for accusing you. I didn't know what I was thinking. Please forgive me."

Toni looked at Tangero with a mixture of relief and sadness. He knew that he had successfully diverted Tangero's attention from Tana, but at the same time, he couldn't shake off the feeling that he had betrayed his nephew's trust. He nodded and said, "Of course, Tangero. Family always forgives each other."

Tangero smiled weakly, still feeling confused about everything that had transpired.

General Kaizo felt his plan was slipping away as the family bonding moment continued. He was frustrated and irritated, feeling like he had lost control of the situation. He looked around the library, feeling trapped and vulnerable. He knew he needed to act fast to regain the upper hand.

With a sudden burst of anger, he lunged towards Toni, hoping to catch him off guard and disarm him. But Toni was quick to react, dodging Kaizo's attack and pushing him to the ground.

As the tense situation between Toni and Kaizo continued to escalate, Toni suddenly dropped a bombshell that left Kaizo stunned. "You know what, Eizo? I'm sick and tired of playing this game with you," Toni said, his voice dripping with contempt. "You're not General Kaizo. You're Eizo Kaizo, younger brother!"

Kaizo's face turned red with anger as he realized that Toni had uncovered his true identity. "How did you find out?" he demanded, his voice shaking with rage.

"It wasn't hard," Toni replied, a smug grin spreading across his face.

Kaizo was speechless, his mind reeling from the revelation. He had spent years pretending to be his older brother, using his position of power to advance his own interests and gather intelligence for the Novartican government. And now, all his careful planning and scheming had been for nothing.

As Toni held Kaizo at gunpoint, he couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction at finally bringing the imposter to justice.

A while ago, As Toni collected the gun, he noticed something peculiar. The real General Kaizo was right-handed, but the man before him was using his left hand. Toni realized that this man was an impostor posing as General Kaizo. He kept this realization to himself for the time being, processing the information in his head.

As the tension between Toni and Kaizo reached its climax, the room was suddenly filled with the sound of alarms blaring and boots pounding on the floor. Without warning, a group of soldiers burst into the room, their faces tense with urgency.

"General Kaizo, we're under attack!" one of them shouted, his voice hoarse with panic. "We need to get you to safety right away!"

Kaizo's face turned pale with fear as he realized the gravity of the situation. He quickly regained his composure, however, and barked out a series of orders to the soldiers.

"Secure the perimeter, and make sure that the civilians are evacuated safely," he commanded, his voice ringing with authority. "And as for this man," he added, gesturing towards Toni with a scowl, "arrest him for treason and attacking his senior officer!"
