At the garden
Lily and Victor dashed outside, their hearts pounding in their chests. They found Lucas, who turned to them with desperation in his eyes. "Thank God you're here," he exclaimed, his voice trembling. "Take care of my daughter. I will be back. Diana has been kidnapped, and I need to save her from that Bastard."
Lily nodded, her determination shinning through. Victor, gripping Lily's hand tightly, spoke up. "Lucas, should we come with you to save Diana?"
Lucas hesitated for a moment, his gaze filled with concern. "No," he replied firmly. "I don't want to risk anyone else. Just do as I say." With those words, Lucas swiftly entered his car and speed off, leaving Lily and Victor standing there, their minds racing with worry and a sense of duty.
They exchanged a glance, their resolve solidifying. They knew they had to protect Sofia, Lucas's daughter, with everything they had.
Ethan's POV
As they speed down the high way, the trees whizzed by, creating a blue of green on either side of the road. Ethan, with a sinister smile on his face, had already bound Diana's hands and leg with a rope. Diana slowly regained consciousness, her head throbbing and her vision blurry.
"Let me go!" Diana pleaded, her voice filled with desperation. Ethan's smirk only grew wider as he focused on driving, his eyes gleaming with malice. " Looks like you have a death wish," he taunted, reveling in his
control over her.
Diana struggled to untangle the rope, her heart pounding in her heart. But her efforts were in vain, as the knots remain tight and unforgiven. Eventually, they arrived at a secluded forest, where a small, eerie hut stood. Ethan wasted no time in tying Diana to a chair inside the hut, ensuring she couldn't escape.
To silence her pleas, Ethan covered Diana's mouth with a white handkerchief, muffling her cries for help. Just then his phone rang, and he answered, turning on the speaker phone. It was Maria, his accomplice, who had managed to sneak into the Mansion and obtain a strand of hair from Rumi. In Diana's mind she wondered what Rumi has to do with this whole thing.
"Now I'm in a phone call," Ethan informed his two hench men, instructing them to guard Diana closely. The tension in the air was palpable as Maria revealed the test results. Ethan smiled, "so what did the test result say" Maria smiled, "you know this is a game of chess, now we know that Rumi is indeed Diana and Lucas missing daughter"
Ethan already put the phone on speaker. Diana's eyes filled with tears as she struggled against her restraints, her heart heavy with the weight of the truth.
Overwhelmed by emotions, Diana closed her eyes, tears streaming down her face. The room spun around her, and she felt herself growing dizzy. With a sudden lurch, she collapsed to the ground, her consciousness sleeping away.
