" Yes my princess, we would love you to live in Hentritch with us. It's what we've wanted for a while now honey." Sampson said to Jenna who was looking from her mom to him.
" But... but I... I was thinking of getting a new job there and giving it a_ "
" A new job?" Asked Evelyn who still had her hands on her daughter's shoulder.
It then dawned on Jen that she was yet to fill them in on the actual story which would eventually lead to why and how she lost her job.
Sighing, Jenna answered
" It's a long story. I don't think you would want to stand while I tell it."
Evelyn then held her hand as the three headed for the bed.
With her hands holding her daughter's firmly, Evelyn and Jenna then sat on the bed. She then extended her left arm across Jenna's back, like a doting and loving mother. When Sampson joined the pair, he held Jenna's left hand.
Jenna bent her head a little so they wouldn't notice she was biting her lips. This was the first time her both parents sat this close to her at the same time. They way they held her hands, with their loving gaze not leaving her, she didn't know if crying would do, or maybe smiling like a charmed fool.
She raised her head after schooling herself, before clearing her throat.
Then, she narrated everything to them, right from when she got the job to the previous day, not forgetting to include Morticia.
"....then your call came in." Jenna said in conclusion.
It was already obvious she visited her grandfather, so that was asides the point.
By the time she was done, creases had already appeared on both her parent's forehead, while Jenna had a crimson red cheek.
Why?
In between her narrations, Sampson would occasionally kiss the back of her palm while Evelyn sort of played with her hair. Jenna blushed furiously whenever they did that. They noticed her reaction, but they just smiled. The most part of their attentiveness was on what she was saying.
But questions like,
' Who is Morticia? When did all of that happen? How could someone be so evil?...' popped up, all of which Jenna answered.
" I'm sorry for being absent in your life all the while my baby'' Evelyn apologized.
" But it'll never happen again baby, I promise." Sampson said patting Jenna's hair.
" That's why we need you to consider our offer darling so we can make it up to you. Besides, Hentritch is like the land of opportunities in Cilevile. So you can chase your dreams and ambitions here." Said Sampson. "And about that Morticia girl, do you trust her?" Evelyn asked.
After a while, Jenna replied;
" I think I do mom."
" Are you sure honey? If you don't then you might just give her some money so you both can go your separate ways." Sampson said.
" I don't think I can dad. You see, it's not that easy. If I do that, It might be a reason something bad will happen to her." Said Jenna before she narrated all that Morticia had told her about her past.
" Baby, we just don't want you to get hurt, not under any circumstance. But if you trust her, then it's fine, you can bring her along." Evelyn said.
" Thank you Mom." Jenna said.
" Anything for you my baby." Evelyn said pulling her only child in, for a hug.
" So it's that a yes baby?" Evelyn asked after a while.
" Yes mom." Jenna said with a small smile.
After all, she had entertained the thoughts earlier on.
" Thank you baby" Sampson said, kissing Jenna's hair.
It was all hugs and talks for the family of three till it was time for dinner.

" It's been a long time coming, my friend." the mysterious person said.
" What are you doing here?" Collins asked, this time, slightly agitated.
" I came to pay a visit, my dear friend. Is this what you should be asking? Shouldn't you offer me, like a glass of wine or water?" The mysterious person asked with a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes.
" What do you want Carter?" asked Collins.
" I already told you. I came to see you." Carter replied with a smirk.
" And oh, I came to fulfill my promises too." He added " You know, promises are best kept, don't you agree?'' Asked Carter.
" Get out of here before I do something you'll regret!" Collins warned.
" Why? Want to shoot me again? Never heard of the saying - 'the fourth time the charm'. So I don't think that'll be possible my dear friend." Carter replied.
" I don't understand what you're saying." replied Collins with a look of ignorance.
" Oh come on Collins. It's just the both of us, no one else is here. So you can cut the act now. You don't want to get me annoyed!" Carter warned.
Collins who had his eyes on Carter the whole time, surprisingly bent a little.
But raising his head, Collin's face was accompanied with a devilish look.
" Why, what are you gonna do? Kill me?" Collins asked with a chortle.
" Oh my dear Carter!"
Keeping the glass of water on a table, with an evil grin, Collins continued,
'' You know, when I first saw you, I thought, you were, you know, a dead man walking. I didn't expect to see you here at all. So you score a point for that one." Collins said nodding his head slightly to show he was really caught off guard, with his hand behind his back.
Seeing that Collins was not scared or frightened anymore, Carter stood at alert with a quirked brow at the same time.
" But you're still the same naive, foolish Carter I've always known." Collins added.
" You wish Collins! If I'm really naive like you say I am, then you would have succeeded in killing me the first time you tried." Carter replied, getting furious at the Collins, who he very much suspected killed his sister and attempted to kill him.
Angrily, he continued,
" So this time, I'm gonna kill you! After that, I'll be sure to bring your evil gang to the floor, especially your useless Don Jefé!"
