When Megha stirred awake, the bath house was completely silent, a little dim from the lack of lights in the building. Megha curiously looked around for Vaani and wondered whether she was still with her and couldn't find her. She shakes her head.
' I should have told her woke me up when she was finished with the bath' she clicked her tongue in regret 'She must have thought I want to rest little more '
Megha often used to sleep after taking a bath. She felt very comfortable and ended up taking a short nap. But she also didn't like it. If she was left alone like this, her relaxed mind became a little grumpy when she thought of Vaani leaving her here. ' I really can't understand why she was in such a hurry '
' Hope I don't sleep here for a few hours straight ' thought to herself, she doesn't feel like that much Time passed and could even see footprints leaving towards the door ' Maybe half an hour? Well it should be Less than an hour ' She speculated to herself as she looked around the foggy atmosphere and darkness.
Shaking her head she got up, wiped her body with a fluffy towel and put on a simple nightdress and dried her hair and wondered to herself whether she got cold as she sneezed a few times when she woke up.
She was very surprised that she got a cold at all. With the natural energy present even non practitioners don't catch colds or fever she a rookie martial artist afflicted something like this never happened to her before not to mention this was hot spring not cold water.
' Could it be that I'm still not getting better after my soul traveled back, don't tell me soul fusion somehow affects my body making it weaker or something?'
" Stupid stupid...please don't think any nonsense like that" * Fuuuh * " Then What should I do? " Megha's mind was kind of a mess as she muttered things. The truth is she would have never fret over something like that but don't know why she was thinking all negative thoughts at the moment.
" Damn it dammit, don't over stress yourself Megha get a grip on yourself! " she muttered to herself as she walked towards the door frowning as she rubbed her arms together to warm up her body.
She missed her simple minded younger self, she now felt her paranoia changed her to a certain degree. She often worried about useless things and struggled to cultivate her mind.
It was exactly at the moment something caught her peripheral vision. Her entire body froze, shaking in fear. She slowly turned her head towards her side with an incredulous look on her face.
Standing...Floating right behind her right shoulder was a flimsy and tall silhouette of what she thinks a black haired woman. It was impossible to make a clear view despite standing very close.
"AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!" A ear splitting scream left her mouth and by next second her reflection kicked in. She shot towards the door with a maddening sprint not caring about anything else, a strange cyan haze covered her legs as her speed increased further.
She Sorely got out of the building and felt like her heart moved away from its cage trying to jump out of her mouth from the intense fear but only to be unable to get past her tightened neck.
She despite her unwillingness Megha dared to take a second look behind her no one startled that thing doesn't seem chasing her even the bath house return to it previous silence made one doubt whether she imagining things at the moment a vivid hallucination.
But Megha wasn't stupid, she had strong Intuition whether she had these doubts or not doesn't matter at this moment. She was still sprinting with her full speed like a slippery loach in water and past the wooden bridge only then she dared to slow down and take another look back.
Despite her fear and tiny little sanity she clung to at the moment made her aware she knew something awful was going to happen. What she witnessed was real If she stupidly collapsed to the ground.
After all that thing once managed to sneak up to her without alerting her of danger sense, it could easily do that again she better not risk her life here. She doesn't know whether it was capable of that or how to deal with it but she had this strange urge to get into the vicinity of people as soon as possible.

" Aaarrrggghhhh! " *Thud* "Ouch!"

"Yo-ou!" *pant pant *
"Little Miss, what happened?" a hoarse voice asked.
" S-silver yo-ou are finally h-here" she take a deep breath hurriedly got up to her feet "Come quickly we have to get away from this place"
"Little Miss-"
"Shut up and come with me...quick!" She grabbed the woman In black garments and a mask.

In five minutes they return to the villa, the woman carefully takes flustered Megha to her room without being seen by any maids or Vaani whose room they walked past once they got into Megha's room and helped Megha sit on the mattress.
She hesitated for a second and asked " Little Miss, can you tell me the reason why you are running away like that? "
" Gh...." *hooh* " There is a g-ghost in the thousand fire ponds, is it going to capture me?" Megha still looked a little pale and her teeths stuttered.
The room fell into silence, the eyes of the shadow guards said quite a few things hearing this, she narrowed her eyes and looked suspiciously at her Little Miss.
' Was this one of her pranks or something? ' Silver carefully looked at Megha's expression 'But this looks too real,.... I don't think she can act this realistic Missy sucks at acting yeah she can't deceive me... I'm sure of it and knowing her since young she wasn't good at acting hmm!? But what's with this situation? What should I do?"
Silver's eyes paused as she took note of Megha's trembling figure and tentatively placed her hand on Megha's forehead ' Oh God she was burning I had to-'
*Crreeeak!*
"Little Cloud?... Silver?"
Both of them turned their head to the door, standing there in her night dress illuminated by moonlight with her blond hair tightly knotted into a simple elegant bun in her eyes were confusion and little alarm, slight touch of jealousy for some reason.
Silver proces everything and straightens up her body, she hesitated for a second and decided to say after all these two teens are very close Vaani could comfort little Miss.
" Miss Vaani! '' Silver took a step forward and greeted her politely with a salute.
Vaani stared at her for a moment, her face turned into a frown. She walked towards Megha who was unnaturally pale even with her skin tone she felt something wasn't right.
"Little Missy, has a fever sh-"
"Oh God! " Vaani, shocked and rushed to her side, sat on the mattress and brought Megha close to her. Vaani already felt the burning of her face turn serious " What happened? Tell me everything?" she demanded.
Silver immediately nodded " Well it's like this after you went out of the bath...." Vaani face changed somewhat strange as she looked at Megha's shocked face "And when I asked she told me she had seen a ghost in the bath I noticed she was trembling and checked, she was okay and... "
Vaani nodded her head in understanding and she lightly commanded " Could you please call for lord Nalan... Inform aunt Madhu as well "
" Will do '' she nodded. She took another look at Megha with a nod at Vaani. She jumped out of the window like a large black bird.
Vaani's face changed colors now that the shadow guard was out of room, her face full of worry. She watched as Megha froze completely unaware of where she was. Vaani got to her feet and went out of the room and instructed a few things to the maids and rushed back with hot water on her hands.
She gently placed it on the table , tapped Megha's cheek a few times and bit her lips in worry as she watched Megha eyes slowly regaining her focus. " What happened, did you get scared or something on your way back?.... I'm sorry I shouldn't leave you like that." her tone was tinged with guilt.
Megha's focus zoomed on Vaani's face "Big Sister, big sister there is a ghost... an evil ghost In the hot bath, it was about to kill me..."
Vaani shook her shoulders slowly " Shh! Don't Worry, this is your room, look we no longer in the bath it's alright"
"But there is a ghost out there-"
"Don't you trust me you are safe here, nothing will happen "
"Big Sister you don't understand how dangerous it was... w-when I was there-" Megha tried to say something as frustration mounted on her and Shame of how she had run out of the bath was clear to her as she waved her hand as she tried to explain.
"Shh! " Vaani grabbed the flailing appendages in her both hands while looking at Megha's wide panicked eyes gently squeezing her palms she assured her "It will be alright, you are okay, we have shadow guards out there protecting us-"
Megha yanked her hands from Vaani's hand in frustration and glared at the idiotic blonde in front of her. Grabbed her shoulder roughly and shaked her shoulders with as much as strength she could muster.
"YOU F****** DON'T UNDERSTAND A THING, WHAT IS YOUR DAMN PROBLEM IN JUST LISTENING JUST WHAT I WAS GOING TO TELL YOU HUH? " Megha looking entirely wild shouting in frustration not caring about maids hearing her hesteric.
" ARE YOU AN IDIOT OR WHAT JUST... JUST SHUT UP AND LISTEN WHAT I ABOUT TO SAY " *PANT PANT* " THERE IS A FREAKING GHOST IN OUR ESTATE GOT IT? JUST LITTLE AWAY FROM OUR DAMN VILLA W-WHAT WILL YOU DO IF THAT THING VISIT US TONIGHT HUH? "
Vaani flinched from Megha's wild face and shuddered at the thought of ghosts creeping into their rooms *gulp* She never witnessed Megha shouting in desperation and she could Clearly read the fear, confusion, uncertainty and something else in her eyes.
Even though Vaani got a little upset as she got yelled at like this in her face but she could feel the concern, fear and frustration woozing out of Megha's trembling body Vaani just had to do her best to calm Megha down.
"Relax! don't shout, I'm listening, okay I'm here relax " ' Damn I shouldn't have left her alone....She must probably had nightmare, I was soo stupid'
She chastises herself for her stupidity, her mind was in chaos back then feared she might do something she regrets later so choose to leave the bath first.
Megha calmed down visibly as she looked around her room, she once again realized she lost her composer like this, though that unclean thing creeped her out.
' I was trying my best to impress everyone and create a cool image in front of them all gone! ' she mourn in her heart would they think me as someone capable ' It will be even harder for to try again'
" You must've had some nightmares when you fell asleep-" she got interrupted by an agitated Megha.
"Big sister listen it wasn't nightmares or anything I swear I saw th-"
" Shh, don't keep thinking those things again and again " she felt a little frustrated by Vaani's way of thinking ' Why can't she just listen to me once, I'm not having any nightmares for heaven's sake ' she was kind of depressed .
" Do you think I really have some nightmare, I- "
"I told maids to bring us food then you can sleep"
"YOU!! "
"Shh! "
"STOP THIS! STOP SHUSHING ME YOU DUMB WOMAN, I WASN'T HAVING NIGHTMARES, DON'T TREAT ME LIKE A CHILD, I WAS THERE OKAY AND KNOW WHAT I SAW" *PHEW* "WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT CREEPY THING BE QUIET DON'T YOU DARE TO SHUSH ME AGAIN " she yelled as she saw Vaani opened her mouth again she gritted her teeth in helplessness took a deep breath.
But her efforts seem to be in vain, Vaani isn't fazed by Megha's shouts and tries to reason with her.
" Megha, listen hey! don't get agitated, listen to me once , will you? The truth is there are no ghosts in this world. They used to scare children. Besides, you never believed in one before, did you?" Vaani tentatively patted Megha's knee " Your teacher should be visit us before dinner you can ask him your doubts "
Megha frowned then took a deep breath, looked expressionlessly at the blonde then gently shook her head " So you don't believe, good! I'm not going to talk to you about this anymore" she fell in her bed and turned away from Vaani "Good night!"
"Little cloud?"
Megha took a fluffy pillow and placed it above her ear as she held it tightly there Vaani became speechless and got up from the mattress. She doesn't know how to placate Megha, she is unusually stubborn tonight.
After a few minutes of silence she also felt a little annoyed by her attitude. She snorted as she spun on her heel straight towards the door. "Don't Leave me " a small voice came from the pillow.
Her face softened a little. She felt this kind of amusing as she chuckled little. She went back to mattress Megha hugged by waist as she placed her head on Vaani's laps. No one spoke anything for the remaining time.
