Chapter 39 - It's Really You! A Potential Ally (Part 2)

Megha doesn't like what she was hearing from this unknown entity, she just thought this person was tricking her in the name of jade seal  though the seal was useful to her some extent did save her life this thing doesn't hold any sentimental value to her wasn't to the level of irreplaceable.

Megha is never the kind to put trust or get attached importance to fickle things as faith and fate muchless a treasure seal. Megha was a paranoid person who would even hesitate to speak her heart to her friends and family these days ; it's not that she doesn't trust anyone but she didn't believe they could be capable of keeping what she said with this level of strength.

The scary organization eyeing her was very capable, she doesn't believe they don't have any other way to uncover matters related to her best source was her friends and family. Megha believes they would surely screen people close to her to get to know everything about her instead of mindlessly coming after her.

Megha finds the seal from an ancient kingdom ruins at that time the seal was really useful so far she successfully finds two useful functions, it can be  either used to break battle formation and capable of block pure Qi based attacks and utilizing.

Although she doesn't know the upper limit of this thing, it was quite a useful tool have when she was on the run by blocking and utilizing she means it could absorb and store the Qi based attacks of her opponents or her own Qi which could be used to break formation or release the stored attacks in unexpected moment.

It may seem simple but it alone shaped her fighting patterns to frightening degree, increased her chances of surviving each of her confrontations with those pursuing experts, it's all related to the blocking functions by wearing this thing.  Megha at one point realizes she doesn't have to fear long range pure qi based attacks no matter how much they throw at her.

She will be unaffected which left them no chance but instead force them to engage her in close combat had they planned battle formation she can simply break them as she willed.  With the negative emotions piled up in her body she was invincible in close combat with anyone in her same realm.

As for facing a few of them together it was no use in deploying such a topic to her they didn't fight to kill her but capture her unlike herself who fights to death ruthlessly. She was no rookie martial artist who got subdued easily by ganged up, as a martial artist progressed in their path their very being kind of getting elevated to higher level.

For example, compared to martial arts masters who also had Qi in their body, the difference was simply vast like an ant and bird. Grandmaster was someone who not only tempered his physique with their Qi but the very essence of the Qi underwent a significant transformation.

If the force not toying with her simply sent a great grand master she would be helpless even if she was only halfway from breaking through the next realm she still wouldn't have winned and got abducted.

The Unfathomable thinking of the force was also the reason why she was apprehensive about getting caught in their hands. What could someone do if they found their opponent or enemies thinking were incomprehensible.

One had to know despite her keeping killing off grandmaster level practitioners, the force kept sending them after her and they were obedient to the force until fighting poison master she really didn't meet anyone who intended to kill her. The manipulation and influence of this force was terrifying.

Megha didn't keep arguing with the voice any longer but she didn't completely believe them either. Her mind was thinking up all kinds of possibilities but was sure of one thing whether or not whatever the voice kept claiming she believed in one thing.

The party doesn't intend to leave her villa for at least a few weeks, anyway what can she possibly do about it? Megha wasn't impulsive enough to rush to find her grandfather or other grand elder to fight off this intruder. What if this person was stronger than her intuition told her.

She doesn't dare to act upon her thoughts, out of all theories she made up during this time from deducing what she gathered about the intruder Megha strongly believed one theory above all else.

Megha knows she has been pushing her luck by thinking such a dangerous thought with having the intruder in her own room but fortunately her life wasn't in any immediate danger.

' If my deduction were right then She might have hiding here to recuperate from her injury and couldn't leave this place meaning she was also chased by someone powerful and because of this stranger hiding here her sect also in danger '

This was also the reason Megha didn't go to her grandfathers and elders. Compared to a dragon somewhere out there she had to be more careful of the wounded beast even if it's just an irksome wolf.

What if this person decides to attack? If she was in the person's shoes Megha would have attacked and wiped out the entire sect than worrying about hidden danger. The only possibility she can think of in this situation was to use the dragon to capture the wolf but that was also impossible to find.

Megha back sweated from her line of thoughts, cursed herself for being a jabbering mess any sane person would have been careful with what they were thinking in her situation here she was boldly devising plans and counter plans.

*Phew* Megha let out a sigh as she calmed down her taut nerves.

In the next couple of days the voice proved it was quite capable in convincing a paranoid person like Megha, from strong suspicion and wariness to make her think there was a logic behind it.

When Megha finally did refine the seal, a lot of her concern and worry about the mysterious person disappeared like passing clouds.

"Hahahaha, I never expected to get a windfall like this " exclaimed Megha, grinned happily in her room. She even apologized to Vaani for fighting with her. Of course that doesn't mean she would apologize to her father as well; the two were  completely different matters.

First it wasn't her fault if her father believed she could be turned into an evil person. Besides, wasn't this proof the point he would rather believe some hocus-pocus than his own daughter whom he always unjustly treated.

Lastly not only did he feel guilty or repent rather he arranged people to monitor her activities. She couldn't  believe she was treated like this in her own home and worse, that was by her own father.

Anyways her new finding improve her mood considerably she even little ashamed by her paranoia until the last moment, though she got coaxed to consider the possibility of what the other party said was trap or prank but she was in kind of impasse so she steeled herself and did the refining process.

Her consciousness got dragged into a mysterious foggy green place and met up with the annoying voice that kept harassing her for the last couple of days.

Imagine her surprise it's neither some oldwomen or spiritual beasts but a girl about age of eight to ten with a exquisite appearances, had black hair and black eyes pale skin tone she had a pristine white robe and pants worn emerald bangles and her shoes inlaid with emerald gems.

"Haha, Here I thought it would take decades to convince you. the child jovially spoke ' it's really her! a child speaking in an adult - like voice ' she secretly thought to herself.

Before she could think of the absurdity of the situation and other nonsensical things on her mind she was interrupted by the child.

" Hey hey, don't get lost in all these thoughts you hear me?" the child spoke In admonishing tone. " You don't have to be paranoid about everything in your life, you know? " the child stated.

Without waiting for any kind of reply the child went with whatever she wanted to talk about " You are technically a child who is still in your teens....may I ask what's got you this paranoid  with every single thing around you? Do you think it's good for your life?"

Megha became speechless by all this rapid question fired at her and a little confused ' Was sh- this thing really not read my mind?' literally question marks appeared above her head.

Megha watched with little embarrassment and fear as the child's expression changed from playful to raging ' Look like it can really hear my thoughts well ' Megha mused what she didn't expect was the change in the thing's attitude.

The cute child gritted her teeth in anger and annoyance as she raised her noodle like hand pointing at Megha's bewildered face the child grind out few things " Listen here, you stupid ***** is your head for show or what no wonder your father so worried about you, it's look like you really have some problem there"

Megha bristled when her father suddenly dragged in the middle of her speech " For the sake of our relationship I'll tell you this one last freaking time make sure you understand it well"

" You shouldn't call or address someone as 'it' you dimwit got it, can't you tell I'm talking to you or hearing your thoughts?"

Megha frowned at the acidic tone but she took a deep breath " Well you said yourself, you are the jadeseal and not a living person so- "

" Hmph, that's proof of nothing but one thing that you are ignorant" the child's face was red and her adorable face turned into a fierce scowl " When did I introduce Myself as a lifeless toy.... I'm an Sentient entity similar to you lowly humans, how dare you to treat me like this "

Even though Megha was also angry by the other party's attitude she didn't flare up hearing how  reasonable this sounded. It was really her fault for assuming things quickly. It's true she didn't  do it on purpose and never thought she would offend the seal in an indescribable way.

Their first meeting ended up as a disaster, though the very next day the spirit in the seal returned to normal even Megha wasn't this natural in this kind of situation, the spirit acted like nothing happened between them no sense of awkwardness which made Megha doubt whether the child was really as she claimed.

But it was only later that she understood she was once again wrong; the child was more cunning and ruthless than Megha ever could be.

Megha felt like she walked into a trap, the seal brainwashed her into doing something time consuming when Megha thought about all of this couldn't stop herself from cursing.

" Nithya, how much longer do I have to keep searching in this darn place?" Megha asked  after getting fed up by searching the dusty library.

" What can't endure in this place? Perhaps this could be your princess syndrome acting up again? " a lazy voice rang in her mind, none other than the newly named jade seal who was currently floating in the green fog with a smug expression.

" I don't care whether you can persist in searching this dusty place or not but let me be clear about one thing: altering one's fate was no easy thing.... The chances of getting your hands on this book was near impossible after you go for that mission thing"

"YOU! '' Megha had to take a deep breath to suppress her agitated emotions `` Talking to you is no different than further wasting my time " she gritted her teeth, obviously irked by all those princess jabs but she chose to endure it.
