Chapter 33 - A Story, A Letter and Feelings

Megha's life returned to normal after she came back from her father's lecture a week ago, all of her thoughts were on how she was going to proceed now that she was really starting to build her strength and didn't want to push her luck by cooped up in her Villa all day.

As a repressed person she knows there will probably be many eyes watching her every move, the sudden changes in behavior might really baffle them if not already made people suspicious by now.

As a teenager she can act a little rebellious if she uses this as a cover to continue with her plan then she knows this isn't going to work so she better act like she used to.

She didn't believe all of them were planted by that powerful force, as a renowned genius and Sect Master's only daughter she doesn't have any other reason to people interested in her or tracking her.

She have been fortunate enough to use the guise of something happened to her and rumors of her losing consciousness every other day helped her to set things on the board but the important thing is maintain her guise thoroughly as the strength of people she going to face are out of her league Megha wanted to maintain the facade as long as she can.

She has long since temper any of her impulsiveness or impatience Megha certainly wouldn't allow such a measly emotion and sentiments not come between the game she has been playing where everyone's life was at stake.

She had to rely on more unstable things to succeed like an element of surprise, knowledge and understanding of the future, most importantly her nearly non existent luck which she was sure she didn't have any from her past miserable life experience.

Megha first went up and met with her teacher who has been teaching her medicine for a few years and slowly revealing her 'Unpolished talent' to her teacher, surprising the elders of the medical hall.

Although she wasn't comparable to her teacher in Medicine and pill concoction she did indeed gain experience in her years of running and studying poison that opened her new understanding of medicine.

As written in poison supremacy, it was true poison can be a cure to many things if handled correctly she was getting good in these things, Megha speculated that If she comprehend both of them and practiced them with resolution she would have broken through in both things and make a whole new path of medicine.

There was no one dabbling in medicine and poison at least not that she was aware of, she would accumulate as much life saving means as possible.

Her master was very pleased with her dedication and new found resolution and helped Megha in her study whenever possible while reprimanded her in a gentle but strict tone if she stressed herself in doing so.

She was no longer learning under Sword Master Soori, glad her father deemed her capable enough to practice her mother's sword technique: 'Dances' on her own.

It was a pseudo three star sword technique called Dances, which she learned from her father for the last two weeks showing off her talent in swords.

It seems her father was happier than her from her brief observation, Megha managed to suppress her amusement; it's very obvious he was extremely happy to pass down this technique to his only daughter.

But Megha felt a little stifled though openly seeing his happy expression and slight anger at his unreasonable thinking and lack of trust in his daughter.

Anyway She has no choice but endure them during this time and glad she gets him and his pleased face out of her private training area   ' Look at how smug his face ' She could tell he has still somewhat expected her to lose interest after seeing the technique in action.

It was a technique originally started to develop by her mother Madhi and later got finished with the help of her husband. It has become a pseudo three star one but in fact it has potential to become a true three star or fully fledged four star one from her father's impression.

As a pseudo star technique it was hard for her to master the technique with her current strength just like her star grade palm technique but if this was just a practice this will be alright.

The reason for Thuruva happiness is somewhat childish and ridiculous, Madhi wanted her daughter Learn this skill. By successfully doing this he managed to keep his word though his wife will be happy in the afterlife.

The important thing here is a reason why he thought Megha might lose her interest. It could be said her mother almost ruined a rare and potential technique just because she wanted it to look fancy.

Now it looks like a true showpiece, a fanciful sword technique that looks great on stage shows but lacks any attack power comparable to pseudo two star technique.

Her mother could be said to be less of a martial artist than Megha ever was in her past life; she joined the longevity sect for one single purpose to recreate something she claimed witnessed in her childhood.

According to her aunt, in their childhood Madhi happened to witness a fight between Gods in the sky one night and happily telling everyone what she witnessed but no-one believed in her including her own little sister Madhu.

After all, not believing such an unconvincing story was a natural and logical thing to do,  firstly there was no such an entity in this world and if such powerful people fought there was no way she managed to survive past that night.

Even fighting between Martial Arts Masters affect normal people the higher level ones attain the more powerful it's effects on the world surely experts notice such a phenomena.

If what Madhi said true then in the least everyone in their village should have notice something amiss according to her description " I have seen two goddess fighting out in the sky one throwing stars around while other froze the whole sky in seconds!...It's more like a beautiful dance than a dance than anything So captivating!"

What Megha believed about this story was that this could be a very convincing dream of her mother. But what astonishing was that after she entered the sect as a mere martial artist she dared to create star level techniques without fear of her life had it not been for Thuruava.

Star level techniques are exclusive to Martial Arts Masters and levels above them to use them as a normal means to use them in fight but it requires high amounts of vital qi to utilize the techniques to full of its capabilities.

It's prohibited in sects no one below master realm should train them or daydreaming about creating one. If Megha doesn't have strange qi from her innate physique her father never allowed her to train in the first place.

When love sick Thuruva knew about this he used this as a chance to get close to his crush and win over her heart by offering her timely aid in creating this technique as he was already Martial Master at that time.

Thuruva has only one weakness in all his life, that was his wife, Megha. Even if her mother wanted she could have easily kept him away from the store called righteous path.

It was personally told to her by Thuruva he used to show this finished up star level skill to entertain her Mother during her pregnancy just to see a smile on her face.

Madhi named them dances. It has a total of four moves, each of them more showy than the other by a great deal. Obviously Thuruva tried his best in this regard; it was an enchanting sight to see.

Megha had a single purpose to practice this style to make it more lethal and a base and reference for high star technique. She, as a survivor who encounters countless pursuits, thinks it has a great potential in it.

She had seen Amara use similar flashy techniques to target many opponents in fights. Such skills are very rare to find even harder to create, most of them inspired by another technique and its understanding.

Even if she can't immediately do that, modifying this technique where it was lacking and upgrading it to true three star technique will last her until she breaks through the great-grandmaster realm.

She had much more time to create a brand new technique so upgrading it to three stars was as simple as creating one star technique as a wise grand master.

Megha sighed after another day of excessive training as she dragged her current tired body to the study table under the concerned eyes of Vaani and opened the letter in her hand in her room.

" Who sent you this letter?" Vaani asked if there was a burning curiosity evident in her voice. Megha was too tired to put up an act.

" It's from.... senior brother Aditya singh! I don't know why he sent me this either but can you please allow me to read it first? "

"Sure" Vaani nodded not  that much curious anymore Megha couldn't help Cast a glance but twitch her lips slightly.

'Junior Sister Megha I hope you have been doing well, This is Aditya  your senior Brother and Core Disciple of our holy sect.

I have been pretty stressed ever since I heard that you have fallen sick had it not been for the reason it should be outrageous. I wouldn't hesitate to barge into your residence to look at your condition.

But I knew what would happen and it pained me to write this, as my actions might have attracted your ire.... I really should have done so as soon as I was aware of your condition...

I deeply apologize for my outburst but I had seen you in the lecture of Sect master and I remembered some event happening in our circle. Are you interested in joining us?

Please let me know your opinion I await for your reply '

'Yours Truly'

Megha gave the letter to Vaani with an expressionless face and got up from her seat lightly cracking her body. She asked Vaani.

" I'm going to Thousand Fire Ponds for a bath , are you coming?"

Vaani got distracted from reading that letter the third time seeing Megha's nonchalant look she nodded her head after they took some clothes they left the villa and walked East side of the peach blossom estate.

After a fifteen minute walk they could see a few  wooden buildings built in clusters of small ponds all of them shrouded in smoke hiding wooden bridges and half covered the building. They were all heated by geothermal energy about five acres.

The buildings were made for bathing in these hot springs, Megha often used to come for a bath with her aunt or Vaani and it was private property. She was a proud owner of the only hot spring in the entire Dual Mystic Plain.

She wanted to come here for relaxation, she was mentally exhausted from thinking all kinds of stuff now added up with her regular classes she was now doing she thought she could use this bath.

Megha totally ignored the blushing face of Vaani who tried her best to remain expressionless. After she removed and rolled up her dress she entered the spring "Sign!"

A sigh escaped her mouth when Megha felt  her sole soaked in warm water she pretended to not notice Vaani who was ogling at her with  slightly open mouth Megha asked as she submerged " Big sister why are you standing there gawking at me, put your clothes aside before join me "

" W-whe- Y-yes! alright" *gulp*

' Now that I see this, I clearly notice obvious signs in her actions but I guess I must be self observant or didn't care about anything else sigh' Megha thought as she looked at Vaani who was fidgeting under her eyes.

Even in her previous life Megha noticed Vaani's  strange behavior towards her in situations like that but mistakenly thought her skin flushed due to warm water and relaxation.

"W-what is it?"

Megha merely smiled, shaking her head and gesturing for her to come over, they both washed each other back then simply relaxing, noticing Megha was looking at her with a thoughtful look, Vaani fidgeted and started to ask about the letter.

" What do you mean? 'What about that?' it looks like you really don't plan to reply to him!?" Vaani exclaimed in shock.

Megha flinched little rubbed her ears as she glared at Vaani who, look little apologetic Megha shook her head " It's not like we were  friend with him I, never speak to him more than five times "

Vaani understands this immediately, she also knows This senior brother is interested in Megha trying to tell his interest in both direct and indirect ways but Megha acted like he didn't exist after knowing his interest.

A few months ago she told him directly he wasn't her type and wasn't interested in him. Aditya kept quiet but suddenly this letter came even Vaani thought he might have moved on but now she wasn't so sure.

Thuruva wasn't going to interfere if a talented genius pursued his daughter. Not only was he talented, he was also handsome and had a good  reputation. Why would Dhruva go against this.

" But it's rude to not even send him a reply, after all it's a polite thing to do " Vaani tried to convince her to reply.

Megha looked at her pensively then nodded  " That's also true... big sister do me a favor wrote a reply for him pretty please!"

"B-but....but why should I write to him?"

" Well I didn't say anything when you read his letter didn't I? "

"You!!" Vaani became a little annoyed but Megha wasn't done yet.

Megha approached her and hugged Vaani from behind and pleaded in soft whispers. Vaani shuddered lightly and her breath became uneven. She struggled in her embrace " Let go of me, W-what are you doing? "

"I really don't want a big sister please! " Megha whined even Vaani wasn't sure what she meant by that clearly her heart rate sped up.

Megha's other hand traced along Vaani's body made a few circles like feathers and whispered pleas in Vaani's ears.

Megha started to plant kisses from her nape, neck, ears and shoulders when she didn't hear any reply. On the other hand Vaani became breathless and felt her legs trembling under water, she shakily nodding in daze when she heard the question.

Tingling feeling filled her body afraid she would moan bit her lips to prevent her suddenly noticing that after the last kiss on her cheek Megha walked away she was half relieved and half frustrated.

*Yawn!* " I felt a little sleepy " she heard Megha muttered and went to sit in a comfortable area where she used to often sleep.

Vaani's hand traced her trembling body little then with a sigh her hands traveled down on her stomach she bit her lips to stifle the moan her eyes never left Megha.
