I exited the theater at the same time as one of the girls at the front desk. She ignored me. I ignored her.
Though she did stare at Ash. I wasn't surprised. Ash is like that.
I walked up to Ash. When he saw me he stood up, pocketed his phone, and smiled at me. I relaxed under his gaze.
I gave into my weariness and gave him a big hug. "Carry me I'm tired." I joked.
Ash hesitated for a minute but he picked me up. I yelled in surprise not expecting him to actually do it.
I threw my arms around his neck for stability.
Well this is nice. No wonder girls are always asking to be carried. Princess style is embarrassing but totally worth it.
Ash was full of blushing. I chuckled and poked his cheek. "Red as an apple."
He looked at me in surprise and blushed more. It made me chuckle. Oh this is fun.
When we got in the car he didn't put me down. He gently put me in the passenger seat going as far as to put on my seatbelt for me.
By the time he sat in the driver's seat, there were two young men with faces as red as apples.
Well, I did not plan for this at all. I've always been on the other end of things. I've always been giving. I really am enjoying this.
We quietly left the theater and headed back to his house. It wasn't awkward. Not for me at least.
It was like the calm after the storm. When the sun comes out. When all of your muscles that have been tensed up for hours finally relax.
I didn't know I could become so happy with so little effort. I glance at Ash.
His movements are graceful and focused. He looks relaxed with a light smile on his face.
My stalker is taking me to his home and I couldn't be more relaxed or comfortable. Honestly, why can't I just live with him…
Actually that's not that bad of an idea. It is a bit soon to be honest. We are also a bit young to be living together.
I'll try asking Ash about it sometime soon.
Maybe he wants that too.
The rest of the night passed with relative ease. We ate some dinner and played some games. I kept trying to flirt with him though he still isn't really getting it yet.
Then it was time to go to bed.
As he was brushing his teeth I peered into the bathroom. Wearing only boxers and one of Ash's large shirts I very calmly said,"Hey let's sleep together."
Ash's entire body spasmed in surprise. Causing him to also spit in the mirror.
I laughed and ran and jumped on his bed. I still don't get how gay guys do it but I more or less have a grasp on it.
Though I doubt anything is gonna happen tonight. Ash needs more time to grasp that I'm not joking. Though maybe sex is a good way to get it through his surprisingly thick skull.
It is my own damn fault. I dedicated so much to that bitch. My change is rather drastic and extreme.
If I try to get him to have sex with me he might think I've lost it. I won't do it till we're actually together or he is the one that initiated.
I settle on the bed on my phone. After a noticeable amount of time Ash exits the bathroom.
His walking is stiffer than normal. He stared at me for a second.
His shirt is very big on me. One of my shoulders is exposed. It only goes down a couple inches above the knee. Leaving me rather exposed.
I had to put a good amount of makeup to cover the wound on my neck. It looks pretty nasty. Also very clearly a hand mark. Most of my bruises are on my stomach.
If I think about it I don't think I'm all that attractive. I'm skinny, short, pale, and just not your standard attractive male.
Though when Ash looked at me I recognized the look. He wants me. Though he coughed and the look was gone. Gone was the man obsessed with me, back was my life long best friend.
Like I thought. It's still too soon.
…
"Jax hurry your ass over to theater 5. Why is this one not done? Are you trying to get fired!?" My pot bellied boss yelled red in the face.
I was confused. "I've only been here for five minutes. I need twenty more to get this done. Get Dave to do it."
I heard the name of the other guys during the beginning of my shift. Lazy piece of shit. He is just on his phone.
My manager glared at me. "Dave is doing his job! Don't have him do your job on top of his own! You get ten minutes to get this one done! Now move it!"
With that she left the theater. Stomping and hitting the door.
I gritted my teeth. I need this job to move out. I can't quit till I have something else lined up.
I hurried and somehow managed to pull it off. I dumped the garbage and went off to the next theater.
I passed my potbellied manager and she smiled at me. "I knew it would only take ten minutes. Don't be so lazy. You'll get nowhere in life with that attitude. Ten minutes for the next one."
I again clenched my teeth and went on my way. Reminding myself about my horrible parents. If I stay at home, I could die again.
Being publicly abused and humiliated is manageable if it means I get to live.
I entered the next theater.
I stood at the bottom of the stairs in horror. It is actually destroyed. Forget ten minutes this could take hours. Popcorn, drinks, an actual pile of used condoms.
I left my cart and went looking for Dave. He was in the men's restroom on his phone. "Hey, I need your help right now."
He glanced up and gave me the middle figure. "I'm busy."
I glared at him. Though I gave up. I went looking for the manager.
She was in her office also on her phone. "You're gonna wanna look at theater 5. We can use it."
She immediately got angry. She got up and stormed over to theater 5.
We passed one of the counter girls and she gave me a weird look. Like she just won something. While straight up laughing at me.
My manager huffed and puffed at the base of the stairs. She grimaced in disgust. Her face was full of disgust and unwillingness.
Finally she turned to me. "You got thirty minutes to fix this place up or you're fired. I won't pay you either. So don't be lazy and get to work."
I stared at her and clenched my teeth. Right before I was about to grin and bare it she clapped her hands in my face. "Chop chop. I haven't got all day. I'm not your mother. Get to work."
I felt something in my mind snap. All emotions were drained from my body. I walked straight past her and headed toward the locker rooms.
"What the hell are you doing?! Get back here!" My manager called after me.
Even though I was only walking, their entire body jigged to keep up with me. All the fat on their body was like jello. Except instead of being like a beautiful cristal. It was a disgusting pigish woman.
I entered the locker room and changed. She stood outside and yelled at me. It was loud, her voice was very offensive.
I sent a message to Ash. Then I walked out.
The pig tried to grab me. The only thing she grabbed was my name tag and the key to my locker. With that I walked out ignoring the pig squealing and chasing after me.
Once I was outside the pig stopped chasing me. They only squealed.
I walked for a very long time. After a bit the world came back into focus and I stopped dead in my tracks.
I just quit. That means I don't have a job. I need a job. I need to move out.
I wasn't at the theater for very long so I have time to go job hunting.
I pulled out my phone. Before I started looking I got a call. It was Ash.
"Hello?" I asked. He doesn't normally call me.
"Where are you?" He sounded rushed and worried.
I guess I did message him.
I looked around. Not actually sure where I was. "Um, Bradford and Helms. Buy the Bear Bear World."
Wow, how did I get here? I walked pretty far.
I hear the sounds of a car revving before Ash spoke again. "Okay stay here. I'm coming."
He hung up. Presumably driving now.
I looked at what I texted Ash, not entirely sure. "I quit my job. You don't need to pick me up."
Why is he so worried? He even called me. Is it really necessary for him to pick me up?
I sat on a bench in front of Bear Bear World. It's one of those arcade birthday places for kids. One with a ball pit. I went there on Ash's birthday a couple times.
Not a lot of kids. Ash practically dragged me around. He wanted to play every single game with me. I was terrible but he always told me I did awesome and wanted to play more with me.
He's always loved me hasn't he.
Ash's car pulled right in front of me. I got in as soon as he stopped.
Ash was very worried. "Are you okay? What happened?"
I smiled. "Yeah I'm okay now."
