I am in the infinite dimension. Dark. I wondered if maybe this is what a blind person feels. I could only feel the cold chill covering my body. Where am I now? Is this a place leading to the afterlife?
A speck of light suddenly shone on me. I walked slowly following him. I don't want to take the guesswork out of where I'm going, but may I hope I'm not going the wrong way? I still have the ambition to solve Mr. There were two of Gray, and made it home safely. However, it seems that coming home is something really luxurious now.
I was suddenly in a place that looked like a deserted ivory-white building. I stepped on the cold marble floor with my bare feet. All around me was white air. I walked here and there hoping to meet someone but only found statues.
After walking aimlessly for a long time, I finally found an altar that was wider than the room before. In front of it, there is a magnificent throne made of red velvet embroidered with gold. There are bird ornaments on the right and left. The throne was flanked by two statues about ten feet high that looked hideous. I saw that in front of the throne, there was a table, on top of which was a large flower that I did not know the type of. The large red flower emitted light from within it, shimmering subtly with a key floating above it. I stepped closer to him, and grabbed the strange key slowly until when I held the key, I suddenly felt my chest hurt like when the King lifted the bastard's ball high. I clutched my chest, enduring the pain but in the end, I could only accept the fact that I would die again.
Shiloh's annoying voice rang in my ear. I couldn't see anything until I slowly opened my eyes. Shiloh held my hand, his face was unbelievably worried. He touched my forehead, then compressed it again with cold water. Amyas immediately came with Aqua. Their faces were worried, but slowly faded when they saw me.
"Finally you're awake," muttered Shiloh. I want to reply to his words, but my lips are tight. Besides that, my throat hurts.
Amyas sat down next to me. He gave me a glass of water after helping me sit up. "Drink first."
I drank the water quickly, it felt like my throat just came alive again. I stroked my neck, holding it while trying to speak. Amyas giggled at my antics. "Don't push it, you haven't woken up in a week."
I was wide-eyed. What sleep record is this again? So far I can only sleep all day. I feel like I might die if I sleep like that. "That's right Abby. You better get some rest, don't do anything else yet."
I don't want to do other things even though it doesn't really hurt. But let's just ignore it. "I'll feed you," Shiloh said. He immediately scooped up a bowl of hot soup, which he had just taken from the palace kitchen. Amyas and Aqua sat side by side, looking at me with odd eyes. Realizing that I felt uncomfortable, Amyas immediately spoke. "Ah, just eat, Abby. I won't bother you."
"I didn't think the effect of the ginger candy I gave you could make you like that," Aqua said quietly. I turned around quickly, glaring at him fiercely. He resumed. "Don't get me wrong. I made those sweets so we could keep our hunger at bay longer, but who knew you could be in such pain?"
I remember the awful taste of ginger candy. That is true. I should have never eaten that candy in the first place. Next time, I will refuse Aqua's food decisively.
Amyas sighed. "You better not give your weird formulas out to people anymore, Aqua."
Aqua said nothing. He just tucked his hand into his thick coat, probably clutching at the ginger candies he had in his pocket. I hope the people who probably ate the ginger candy didn't have a heart attack. "I want another drink," I said quietly.
Amyas immediately fetched a drink and held it for me. I leaned my head looking up at the ceiling. The memories I got from that long sleep couldn't possibly be the effects of a ginger candy. Can the effect of ginger candy be that strong? Oh come on, it's just an ordinary ginger candy that's too spicy. I still have some ginger candy in my pocket, hopefully they will.
"I think you need some more rest, Abby." Amyas moved from his seat, stood up. "I will visit you again tomorrow. Come on, Aqua."
Aqua nodded in response to Amyas's words. They both finally left my room. I took a slow breath, then watched Shiloh give me a strange look. "You got ginger candy from Aqua?"
"Yeah. I ate it too." Shiloh placed the half bowl on top of the small drawer beside the bed. "I hope you won't be like this again in the future, Cav."
I closed my eyes slowly, leaning back. "Don't call me that. Here I am Abby."
Shiloh didn't answer. He suddenly held my hand. "I don't want to be stuck in here, Abby. That's why you have to try to survive for me."
Shiloh's words sounded absolutely disgusting to me but I only raised an eyebrow. "Why should I endure for you?"
"Because you are important to me."
I'm laughing. "I did not know that you are fond of lying, Shil."
"I'm serious."
I didn't answer him anymore. Me and Shiloh have an abstract relationship that is not clear, but we both care for each other even though I'm arguably the only one who cares the most. Shiloh can be annoying and fun at times, but of course the annoying percentage is almost over 80%.
"I had a strange dream, Shil."
I saw Shiloh looking curious. He raised an eyebrow. "What did you dream about?"
"Why do you think I'm in so much pain?"
Shiloh shrugged. "I don't know. Didn't Aqua just say it was because of the ginger candy?"
"Are you sure it's just the ginger candy?" I said again. Can ginger candy really trigger pain in the chest? It was possible that the candy had other substances added to it. "You know there's no way a piece of candy can put a person to sleep for a week."
Shiloh stroked his chin gently. "I see what you mean. But what was the motive in giving you that 'special' ginger candy?"
"I also do not know." I drank the water slowly. "Why do you think?"
Shiloh shrugged. He didn't speak again after that. I studied the man remembering Shiloh's words when he said we couldn't get out. But right now, it felt like he didn't know anything. Actually, what happened to him?
"Shiloh."
"Hm?"
"How long are you going to pretend?" []
