I get in the backseat of a black SUV an hour after my conversation with Bruno, Dante in the driver's seat.
"Where to?"he says.
"My friend Sophie's house.We're picking her up,"I tell him.
He nods,turns on the key of the car and the engine roars to life.As he does this I lean back in my seat and twirl Bruno's black AmEx card in hand.
Though I was holding it in my hands,I had initially refused to even imagine taking it when Bruno had offered it.
"Absolutely not,Bruno.I don't want your money,"I add told him fiercely.
"Well,it's the only money you can spend now.You're sort of penniless now,"he had told me.
"I'd rather be broke than spend a dime of your money."
I may be in tough situation right now but I would not accept money from the man who was kidnapping me.It would be paying right into his hands.
"Come on.Don't be difficult,Lina.I mean, I stole your money this is the least I can do,"he tels me candidly.
