It's about two in the afternoon when we drop Sophie off at her place.
"Bye,"I tell her,looking at her as she is near the window of the car.
"Tell Bruno that if he does anything to you then I'm going to cut off his balls,"she says instead of bidding me goodbye too.
I bite the inside of my cheek at what Sophie says.I'm not comfortable with her mentioning his balls.It's just weird.
"Sure will,Soph but I already told you that he isn't going to do that,"I tell her.
"Whatever,"she says before stepping away from the car and turning towards her house.
She waves at me with a hand full of shopping bags as she walks away and I do the same as she struggles with bringing the many bags from the luxurious boutiques into her house.
When Carlos opens the front door to welcome her inside,I lean further back into my seat so that he doesn't see me.
