Lina
"Good morning,Lina,"Dante says cheerily when I walk into the the kitchen in the morning.
While I'm still in my pyjamas, the man is fully dressed, wearing black trousers, black shirt. But atleast this time he switched things up with white sneakers.
Sitting on the stool in the counter,he confinues sipping what smells like a cup coffee while looking at me.
"What are you doing here?"I ask him when I stand infront of him.
"Working,"he answers curtly.
"There is no need.I don't plan on going out today,"I inform him.
The man puts his coffee down and looks at me with the look one would have on their face when they are explaining things to a child.
"That doesn't matter,Lina. My job is to keep an eye on you from sun up to sun down,no matter where you are."
I can't help groaning my frustration at his words. And I'm also resisting an urge to stomp my foot down like an actual child.
