"Drive me to offices of Moretti Group of industries,"I say to Dante after we get into the car.
"Why?"he asks.
"That's none of your business,"I tell him as I fasten seat belt.
I have a feeling that he may not approve if I told him I was going to see Miles so that I could warn him about Bruno coming to...end him.
Dante give me annoyed look in the rear view mirror but I honestly couldn't care less.
Miles's life was more important than his sensibilities.
"No can do.I was given orders to take you straight home,"he tells me.
"Well, I am giving you a new order and that is to take me to the offices of Moretti Group of companies."
"But you're not my boss,"he tells me.
"This is important, "I yell at him.
"Take it up with your boyfriend, "he tells me.
I purse my lips in annoyance because this guy knows talking with Bruno is a lost cause.
