As dusk approached, a silhouette could be seen moving with steady and swift steps, attempting to avoid being noticed or captured.

Rosey attempted to reach the dark alley as closely as possible while avoiding being caught by Moby.

_Grumble! Grumble.

"I just need to get a little bit closer," Rosey murmured to herself.

After a while, she managed to reach a bin and crouched down to hide. The thought of finding something to eat made her tummy grumble with hunger.

As her belly continued to grumble, a man appeared and carried a black bag before dumping it in the dumpster. He left immediately after disposing of the bag.

"Seems the heavens are smiling down on me today." Without wasting any time, Rosey hurried to the dumpster and began rummaging for something to eat.

Rosey's eyes intently scanned the piles of discarded food, and after a few moments, she spotted a glimmer of hope _a half-eaten sandwich.

Rosey shook her head in disbelief at the half-eaten sandwich in her hand. "How could someone waste this?" she wondered.

But she quickly shrugged off the thought and smiled to herself. "Their loss is my gain, hehe," she thought happily.

Just as she was about to start eating, a rugged man in dull clothes snatched the sandwich from her. It was Moby.

Moby had midnight black hair, which was gelled into spikes. When he scrunched his face up, his wide nose looked even wider.

"How many times do I have to tell you, brat? This place is my turf!" Moby yelled with his face contorted in rage.

Moby threw his right leg forward and kicked Rosey in the ribs. She screamed in pain as her body fell to the ground. "Ahhh ahh!" she whimpered, clutching her side.

Moby smiled as he saw the tears falling from Rosey's eyes. He bent down to look closely at her.

"It seems like you can be useful for something, probably worth a hundred boxes, hehe," Moby said, as he moved to roughly drag Rosey up from the ground. "Common bitch, stand up!"

'Oh no, this can't be... I can't let him take me!' Rosey thought as she began to struggle, trying to free herself from Moby's grip.

Suddenly, a hot slap landed on Rosey's face, causing her to fall backward. Her head flashed red for a moment from the impact.

Moby snarled in her face, "Bitch, come on, move it!"

As he went to take hold of her again, Rosey's dizziness began to subside.

With the way her head was positioned, Rosey noticed a piece of rusted iron placed nearby.

Driven by desperation and hunger, Rosey impulsively picked up the object and thrust it forward with all the strength her weakened body could muster.

She didn't aim or consider the consequences of her actions.

Rosey's attack connected with Moby's head, and blood sprayed from his head as he bent forward in an attempt to grab her.

Moby's face filled with shock, his mouth open in mid-speech, before he slowly plunged to the cold ground with a loud thud.

Rosey stood frozen in place for a few minutes, with the realization that she had just killed a person.

The words echoed through Rosey's head like a never-ending nightmare. "I have killed a person, I stabbed him...I am a killer."

She felt like she was drowning in those words, suffocating under the weight of what she had done.

"No, no...what have I done?" she choked out, her body shuddering with sobs.

She scooted back away from the body, horrified by the sight of blood slowly pooling around it.

She pressed her hands to her mouth, trying to stifle her cries as she rocked back and forth, lost in a sea of guilt.

"I have_ to go," she stammered, her voice barely audible. She gave herself a slap, trying to snap out of the shock of what had just happened and focus on the present.

Rosey's body trembled with fear and adrenaline as she scrambled to her feet and started running, not sure where she was going.

She could feel her heart pounding in her chest, threatening to burst out of her ribcage.

Her mind was a jumbled mess, replaying the events of the last few moments over and over again.

Rosey's legs were heavy as she dragged herself along the dark, narrow alleyway.

"Where do I go now? I have nowhere else to go," she whispered to herself, her voice trembling with fear and despair.

Rosey realized that she couldn't go back to the alley where she usually slept.

That would be the first place where anyone searching for her would look. She needed to find somewhere else to stay, at least for the time being.

All she wanted to do was to get far away from there.

In the quiet of the office, a man was seen sitting at his desk, diligently going through paperwork while another leaned against a cabinet nearby.

The room was filled with the soft rustle of papers and the occasional creak of the cabinet as it shifted under the weight of the working man's companion.

"Hey, Theovin! Are you going to keep working yourself to a daze again?" Ralph said and sighed.

"Ahhh. You have been like this for some days now constantly burying your head in work."

"Ralph, just shut the hell up! Hump! looks like you have nothing to do. Why don't you take those documents over there."

Theovin pointed his index finger towards the far end of the posh brown office table and instructed Ralph.

"Calm down, I am leaving now!" Ralph hastily ran out of the room.

Ralph muttered under his breath, "Always threatening me with additional work as if I am not already being worked to death."

As Ralph made his exit, Theovin's attention returned to the pile of papers before him, his mind wandering aimlessly as he stared at the documents.

His head was pounding and he was struggling to maintain focus.

Theovin's frustration bubbled over, and he let out a guttural scream of rage.

He raised his hand to his chest, feeling a searing burning sensation where his heart was.

It was as though his dragon tattoo was alive and thrashing beneath his skin, trying to claw its way out.

This occasional burning pain has persisted throughout the week, and at times, it has been so severe that he coughed up blood.

"Now that's the fifth one today." He spoke up, his voice laced with a hint of exhaustion and frustration.

The pain slowly subsided, allowing him to take a deep breath.

He sat back up and tried to focus on the pile of documents on the table, but everything appeared blurry and his head throbbed with pain.

"What the hell is happening? Dragons aren't supposed to have such stupid headaches, and I can't seem to focus on anything anymore.

And why do I feel so damn uncomfortable?" He exclaimed, frustration and worry etched on his face.

"I'm done for today! This can't keep happening. I have to find out the cause of this."

He muttered as he ruffled his hair, stood up, and walked out of the door.

His Dragon Spirit stirred within him as if awakening from a slumber. "WHY DOES MY HEART ITCH LIKE THIS?" Gold Song questioned but received no answer from Theovin .

"COULD IT BE OUR MATE IS NEARBY?" Gold Song perked up with excitement.

"Just go to sleep, I don't have the strength to bicker with you today," Theovin spat out, suppressing Gold Song.

Theovin jogged down a flight of stairs and stepped out into the fresh open air.
