Later, at 11:54 a.m., Atsushi finished his exam and handed it to Clare.
"Okay, your results will be posted after lunch," Clare said to him.
"Thank you," Atsushi replied.
His stomach then growled mildly like a monster due to hunger.
"Did you have any breakfast this morning?"
Atsushi then shook his head. "No, I woke up at 4 in the morning."
"I see. You can get food from the cafeteria.'
"Okay, thanks."
Atsushi then left the classroom and headed to the school cafeteria to eat lunch. There he saw it being busy. Students in white and black uniforms are getting food, eating, drinking, chatting, and laughing. Staff members are busy serving food and drinks to students and teachers. At this point, Atsushi felt being an outsider and a stranger in this new environment, but he took a deep breath and just went in, trying his best to blend in. But, he saw Yeager's hand waving at him, and so he went to his table.
"Hello there," Yeager greeted positively. "It's been a few hours since the last time I saw you."
"Yeah," Atsushi responded as he sat down.
"So, did you take the transfer exam?"
"Yes, I did, Yeager-san."
"Was it hard?"
"Not that hard though. My results will be released by after lunchtime."
"Okay, well, here's your food."
Yeager then directed it to the tray full of food in front of Atsushi.
Atsushi looked at it, and he was surprised.
The tray contains fried Java rice, some fried pork tonkatsu, and some vegetables like cucumbers, all neatly arranged.
The beverage is a bottle of water.
Atsushi then looked at Yeager. "Thank you."
"Don't sweat it, Atsushi." Yeager smiled at him.
And so, after saying gratitude for the food, Atsushi grabbed his chopsticks and eat up. "So good!"
"Eat as much as you want. I bet you haven't eaten anything since this morning.
"Yes, I didn't eat anything," Atsushi replied back. "Saya and I walked all the way from Shibuya to here."
Yeager was surprised by their hard journey. "What?"
"Yes, I admit that."
"That must have been a hard and long one."
"Yes, and we have to watch out for beastmen and vampires almost every time."
"I see. I'll give you a helicopter ride back to Shibuya."
Hearing the last part, Atsushi looked at him while being surprised. "What? Really?"
Yeager then nodded.
Because of this, Atsushi couldn't help but be thankful to him for such a generous offer.
Later, after lunch, at her classroom, Clare showed the results to Atsushi for his performance in the transfer exam. The score was 77 points.
"Congratulations, you did fairly well, Atsushi-kun," she said to him.
Atsushi was overjoyed because he had passed the exam fairly well. "Thank you so much."
Yeager was happy for him. "Don't worry, I'll inform the Imperial Demon Army regarding your transfer."
Atsushi then looked at him with positivity. "Yes, so I would get out of that brutal faction."
And so, after that, Atsushi was given a helicopter ride back to Shibuya as Yeager promised. At the same time, he informed the Imperial Demon Army about his transfer.
