"Pink or Purple?" Ammi asked as she raised two colors of laces. She was picking it for the set of luggage that will be taken to Haleema's house as part of the hausa culture for a bride, Lefe. It has been six month since Abba went and asked for Haleema's hand in marriage for me. Things were moving fast and we have less than seven months untill our wedding. Six months to be exact.
"Mint green" I replied without as much as looking at the clothes. We were at a shopping mall choosing clothes for the bride and getting everything set up before the wedding which is just a month after her final year exams.
"You are so annoying. We have been picking mint green for almost all the stuff we've bought" Ammi complained.
