Micheal was already waiting for David when he reached the waterfront. It was one of their family's private buildings. There was a large fountain of water running down a cliff and a resort where they could sit and just watch.
"What is so urgent that we have to meet?" Michael blasted once David reached him. "Dad has been waiting...."
"Something happened". David stated as he sat down on one of the seats facing the water flowing at full speed. It was one of his favorite places to meditate after a hectic day at work and always brings him peace but at that moment, he was too distracted to care.
"What happened?" Michael asked as he sat opposite him.
"How long would it take before the lawyers could hand me my inheritance?" David asked.
Michael looked at him like he had seen a ghost. "What do you mean?".
