"David. You cannot do that. I mean, you kids are doing fine. Why would you destroy your marriage?" His Dad tried to be calm. He knew getting upset wouldn't help him, especially after knowing he made a grave mistake, not including divorce as part of the agreement. "The whole point of that trip your Mom organized was because she wanted you to understand each other and make it work".
Mr Anderson did not understand his kid. David has always been a reserved and difficult one. When he made up his mind, he didn't change it no matter the pressure and he was scared this was the case. The stubborn crease of David's forehead was already telling him his mind was pretty set up.
"Well we didn't Dad. Even if we did, I can't go with it. It has always been someone and....".
