After a few hours, Hannah began to stir and her mother quickly noticed and moved into the
armchair next to her bed.
"How are you feeling?" Mrs Smith asked.
"I'm OK, how are the others, have you got any news,?" Sarah asked.
"Only on Sarah and Olivia nothing on Megan yet," Mrs Smith told her.
"Are they OK?" Sarah asked.
"Sarah's had surgery but I think she's going to be all right and Olivia's got a broken leg it was bad but luckily she didn't need surgery and after having her leg in a cast and taking it easy it for a it should be fine," Mrs Smith told Hannah.
Hannah then noticed her arm was broken and in a cast. Her mum noticed her looking at her arm.
"Your arms broken but they said it will heal fine it will take a few weeks but then it should be fine" Mrs Smith told her.
"I know I shouldn't have done it. But I thought it would be a bit of fun to go and explore the cave lots of people were doing it and it seemed like it could be fun," Hannah told Mrs smith.
"It's fine we'll talk about it another day, all that matters is that you're alive and you're going to be OK," Mrs Smith told her.
"You will tell me if there are any more updates on the others won't you?" Hannah asked.
"Of course I will, I should get some more news soon hopefully," Mrs Smith told sarah.
A short time later Hannah falls back to sleep.
"I hope we get some news soon about the girls especially megan then we will know if she's OK or not but hopefully she is are," Mrs Smith told mr smith.
"They're probably fine and Megan's parents are probably just taking the time to make sure she's OK and they are also probably worried about her. That's why they are taking so long to contact us," Mr Smith told mrs smith.
"We still haven't heard anything at all about Megan. What is bad news, what are we going to tell Hannah?" Mrs Smith asked.
"if it is bad news we'll tell her together it will be okay," Mr Smith told mrs smith.
An hour later, just as Mr. Smith had dozed off, Mrs. Smith's phone began to ring, abruptly waking him up.
"Who is it? Is it one of the girls parents?" mr smith asked.
"Yes it's Deidre I'll go outside to answer it just in case she has any updates on Megan and it's bad," Mrs Smith told mr smith.
"If she does have bad news, it's probably best if we wait and tell Hannah together as a family," Mr. Smith advised Mrs. Smith. "We wouldn't want her to wake up and overhear anything." Mr smith told mrs smith.
Mrs. Smith then rose from her seat and walked over to the door, pushing it open as she answered the phone.
