"Come on Charlotte, let's go back upstairs," Seraphina said, calmly leading her back to the room she first awoke in.
Charlotte winced, "Do you have any pain medicine? That's what I came down here looking for. My head is killing me and my arm isn't feeling too great either." Not great was an understatement, it felt as if her arm had been put through a meat grinder.
"Of course. The doctor is on his way, but I'll get you something to hold you over until he arrives." Seraphina said, glancing over her shoulder to see the thin brunette railing behind her like a lost puppy. Seraphina could see that Charlotte was worse for wear, there were bit marks on her arm and the entire limb looked swollen and painfully inflamed.
"Thank you," Charlotte sighed.
"Charlotte... what happened with Kyle was..." Seraphina started.
"I don't want to talk about it." Charlotte hissed, slapping her hands over her ears.
