After agreeing to meet Gio later in the day, Charlotte snuck back upstairs.
Gio had remained tight-lipped about the witch's motives and the details of the curse, however, Charlotte was already formulating a plan.
If he wouldn't budge maybe she could go about it another way. After all, Gio couldn't be the only one who had information about the witch.
When Seraphina came to wake her up the next morning, Charlotte suggested they have breakfast together. The blonde girl looked surprised but readily agreed to it, seemingly welcoming the company.
Charlotte even offered to give her a hand in the kitchen. She whipped up the pancakes, while Seraphina made the eggs and bacon.
It was actually quite fun, Charlotte enjoyed cooking, but she hadn't had the opportunity since moving here and Seraphina was easy to work with.
They talked lightly as the food was made. Apparently, Seraphina enjoyed cooking, but had no patience for baking, while Charlotte enjoyed both.
