Viswa met with the instructor's gaze, but the next second he just closed his eyes and just meditated.
He is sure that the reaction of the slave brand is because of a person among that small group. But he cannot do anything about it. So, he decided not to worry about it for now.
Instead, he shifted his focus to the next opponent.
After fifteen minutes of complete silence, Viswa stood up and walked onto the stage. The opponent also came onto the stage and this guy is much calmer compared to the previous one.
He is also using his fists, but he has brass knuckles on and his stance is also much closer to a boxing stance as he looked at Viswa.
He is composed and didn't panic like the guy before.
The opponent lunged forward and tried to throw a straight punch at Viswa. It is laced with spiritual energy and most of the spiritual energy is enveloping the knuckle.
Viswa ducked and dodged the punch. But the other party anticipated it and threw an uppercut. But Viswa was nimble enough to dodge.
In just ten seconds. It turned into a boxing match. Only one guy is using light movements like jabs while the other guy is wearing brass knuckles trying to throw knock out Viswa with every single punch.
As the fight went on. Not a single punch landed on either of them. One minute, three minutes, five minutes.
Soon, the opponent couldn't keep the boxing stance. He opened up a bit and had a much wider karate stance. The punches are not as orthodox as before. They are free flowing and they came from many weird angles.
They are much more dangerous.
But at the same time, they left some openings. For the first ten seconds after the stance change, Viswa didn't do anything. He just dodged and dodged.
"Are you going to fucking run like that for the whole day?"
The opponent spoke and the next thing he knew…
*BAM*
A punch landed clean on his face. It is a hook that came a very weird angle. It came from under his arm and hit him in the jaw cleanly.
Viswa didn't let this chance go, he gathered spiritual energy into his fist and landed another hook this time on the body from the side. It landed on the ribs.
*CRACK*
He could feel the fracture of those bones on his fist.
The opponent felt like his heart stopped for a minutes. He couldn't breath and what followed next are two more punches that knocked him down on to the stage.
He tried his best to take deep breaths and stand up properly to get back into a fighting stance.
Viswa looked at him while bouncing on his feet. He had that calm expression on his face while some sweat is dripping off of his head. His body is loose and warm.
He had a faint smile on his face as he dodged the coming punches. The other party is already a bit wobbly. The shots on the body hurt like hell after all.
Viswa dodged a couple of punches and landed another hook. At the same spot as the one before.
"Motherfucker…"
The opponent grunted angrily. Viswa's face turned a bit cold.
All of a sudden, the punch that he could have dodged completely was allowed to graze past the side of his chest.
Just when the opponent thought that he might be getting a chance to hit Viswa, he realized that his arm is trapped.
Viswa caught hold of that guy's arm under his own. He locked the arm right there and then the audience saw one of the most vicious beatdowns they ever saw. Even by Viswa's standards, they are just being introduced to.
Viswa's free hand which is also his right hand moved at an incredible speed. Each punch was laced with spiritual energy as he threw them one after another.
He threw twenty punches a second. Fast. So fast that his arm looked like it was a blurry streak.
Punches landed on the chest, face, chin, temple, ear, neck, ribs, and under the arm.
His punches were sharp and precise. Blood flew over once again.
But this time, it was more concentrated. Because the opponent was unable to move.
Everyone watched as the Ninth ranker lost strength in his legs and fainted. But Viswa propped him up with his arm and beat him. After a while, he is not even looking at the opponent. He looked at the remaining rankers.
After who knows how long. He threw the guy off the stage.
An instructor ran over to take a look.
The left side of the opponent was completely crushed. The face was open with broken bones. His left arm is useless. His shoulder joint is crushed to fragments. The ribs are mashed up. The left lung is almost minced.
It would be a miracle if he could even survive.
Viswa didn't even bother to wipe the blood that sprayed all over him. He just went back to sit and meditate. Of course, before that, he looked at the notification.
[YOU HAVE CHANGED THE DESTINY OF XXX. YOU HAVE OBTAINED 22 POSITIVE KARMA. YOU HAVE A TOTAL OF 193 KARMA POINTS.]
With this, his recovery rate is 193% and his spiritual energy absorption rate is around 19.3%.
The notification is followed by a disturbing vision of this guy raping and killing a couple of women. Viswa frowned. From what he understood, the current rankers would barely be accountable for anything after they left the academy.
After all, they are repeaters and leftovers.
But both times, the visuals said otherwise. And there is one common thing in his visuals that he noticed. Both this guy and the guy before wore the same outfit.
Viswa frowned at this.
He knew that sooner or later he would have to farm for karma points. And it is proven that he would get more points if he targeted some bad apples.
He was thinking of targeting some criminals on the street. But never in his dreams had he thought that these fifteen-year-old kids would be good Karma Point sources. Only as time passed is he realizing that they are actually a good resource.
After all, the duels he had before this gave him a bunch of Karma points. At that time he thought it was just a coincidence. But these kids now are way worse.
He could only earn around 30 to 35 points if he saved a person from dying. But just beating the crap out of these two guys gave him 47 points. And the visuals just proved that they kind of deserve it. He shook his head and closed his eyes.
Meanwhile, the rankers are sweating. They have been in the academy for a while. They know of each other's strengths. They didn't expect Viswa to be able to gain such one-sided victories.
After another fifteen minutes, Viswa got on the stage once again.
Ten minutes, it ended in another lifeless student being carried away by an instructor.
Fifteen minutes of recovery. And ten minutes of onslaught. In the process, Viswa identified three of the four people he spotted in the forest.
But there was one person he still had to find out and he didn't have to try very hard to do that. Because there is only one person left among the rankers and it wouldn't take a genius to connect the dots.
Kuma stepped on the stage.
He looked at the blood left behind. By now, almost the whole stage is covered with blood stains.
"You are a filthy animal. Just how cruel can you be? Are you even a human?"
He asked as soon as he came onto the stage.
Viswa didn't even show a slight twitch on his face.
"Who put you up to it?" Viswa asked calmly.
His voice didn't match his performance until now. The academy has been there for hundreds of years, but all the instructors are sure that there never has been a student who created this much bloodshed. Viswa straight destroyed the wills of a bunch of people.
"I know the answer to the question. Based on your performance if the rest of them knew, they would have answered that question."
"So, are you going to answer it?"
"No. I am not like the rest of them. You will surpass in just a few days at this rate and if you had enough patience, you would have had a much easier time extracting the info out of my mouth."
Kuma said as he slowly stepped forward. He paused for a moment and continued.
"But you are impatient and impulsive. Right now, I am stronger than you are and I have seen your moves. That means, I can fucking end you now."
With that, all of a sudden he lunged forward with two knives in his hands. He smung them at Viswa. His moves are fast, controlled, and precise. Viswa hurriedly dodged. His instincts screamed like hell and didn't dare take a chance.
He created as much distance as possible and avoided the attack.
