Chapter 5 - Chapter 5- Gone

The war zone was so eerily silent, even the demons looked lost.... Their mistress didn't give them any orders on what to do so they just watched the scene of the woman dying in her husband unfold right before their eyes.

The Entiricans used this opportunity to tend to the injured soldiers but their hearts were sad as they all knew about Sharon's pregnancy and they knew how delicate Entiricans pregnancy was.... She or her children may not survive such a brutal attack.... But they couldn't sit and cry, Sharon wouldn't be happy if they all looked down and pitied her and also they were warriors and knew that death and injury were inevitable so they decided to do something with the time given as their heart cried for her.

Meanwhile, Serina saw how the formidable warrior woman, who she found out is named Sharon was already giving up and succumbing to the darkness, just that made her feel very pleased with herself, she was happy that she was able to break her and her fighting spirit.

She hit her physically, mentally and emotionally with such a lethal blow so it isn't surprising that she was giving up, she couldn't help but smile as she watched her lose her life slowly but surely but she saw Aaron crying out for her begging her to come back.

She scoffed inwardly, she knew that a mother losing her baby was a pain worst than death and she wouldn't want to live again, so the woman wouldn't listen to him no matter how much she loved him.

Looking at Sharon, Serina was reminded of herself, and she couldn't help but feel sad for the woman but then she pushed those thoughts behind her and watched as she anticipated her giving up finally.

She didn't know why but she wanted to watch this woman take her last breath before she feels at peace so she watched, patiently waiting for that moment to arrive. But to her dismay, it didn't.

Instead she saw the woman trying to gasp for air.....She was fighting death one on one and she didn't even seem to be losing, Serina was taken aback by the woman's sudden determination and strength.

Yet again this woman managed to surprise her with her determination.

Sharon grabbed the hand that she was sure was her husband's. The hand immediately started pulling her out of the darkness....her husband's hand continued pulling her quickly and she felt nauseousa so she closed her eyes so as to fight the nausea. And then she heard her husband voice.

Distant but very close, she could hear the grief and sadnesss in his voice but she couldn't see him, she could only see darkness but his voice was getting louder by the minute, she figured out that her eyes were still close so she decided to force her eyes open and when she did, she felt warmth.... A nice type of warmth, the cozy type that makes you feel like you're floating in the air, she realized it was her husband's warmth.

She tried to take a good look of her surroundings and her eyes could only pinpoint some things.

Opening her eyes, she saw her husband..... But her memory was blank, she couldn't remember how she got there or how she became unconscious, she gave him a long stare wondering where they were and she decided to turn from him to look somewhere else... To find her answers since he seemed to be in a daze and as she turned her eyes fell on Serina.

Her eyes dilated as she saw this woman who held a sword in her hands and her wings sprouted behind her and an evil knowing smile on her face making her look so stunning but in an evil way.

Serina stared back at her with so much intensity as she craned her neck in confusion on why Sharon was looking at her like she had seen a ghost.

Memories of everything came flashing to Sharon's mind....When she was fighting with her attention on her husband, how she heard her husband call unto her to watch out and when she did she was frozen with a threat on her babies as this woman came hurling towards her in an unimaginable speed, and then she remembered how this woman pierced her stomach... Her Babies without a second thought.

Just that made her scream in despair as she felt like she went through the same thing all over again but the feeling was worst than the first time because she knew what would happen the second time it appeared in her head but still she couldn't save herself or her babies from the vile woman.

As Sharon stared at Serina, hatred and rage filled her eyes as she stood up from her husband's arms and crawled towards that woman..... This woman knew she was pregnant and still decided to attack her mercilessly and she targeted her babies.... Just that fueled the rage in Sharon as she charged towards Serina, 'A woman who could kill two innocent living beings without remorse doesn't deserve to bear a child at all....infact she doesn't even deserve to live anymore, she was a monster and she deserved to die the most gruesome death of all'.

Sharon continued to fill her mind with thoughts of killing this woman and ending her life with her own hands, then she would feel a lot better.....yes when she dies, she wouldn't kill any innocent being ever.

Running towards her, Sharon immediately stopped as she felt blood flow out of her body, and her gaze fell on her stomach....She gulped as she saw the hole in it, as she felt her knees become weak as her throat ran dry and she felt her resolve waver right in front of her eyes.

No.... She didn't want to kill this woman, she just wanted her babies to be alive and well, that's all she wanted.

She knew killing her wouldn't change the fact that she has lost one of them and would probably lose the second one soon.... It wouldn't make her feel any better, it also wouldn't bring her baby back to her.

She subconsciously walked backwards as tears poured out of her eyes without her realizing, she looked so dead, she had already given up on everything, the only thing keeping her was love for her husband and her second baby.

She took a step..two steps..three steps..

She continued walking until she felt her legs weaken as she decided to just let go and fall but then Aaron caught her before she could fall.

Her baby was gone.
