Sharon felt her body being enveloped in somebody's arms when she was falling but she was too depressed to acknowledge the person as her eyes were closed as she was trying to feel if she could hear her child's heartbeat but she could hear two... Faint but still there.
Just that made her open her yes and the first face she saw was her husband's. She couldn't wait to give him the good news that their second child was still hanging on and could be saved. When she heard Serina burst into laughter..... She was mocking them, she got to them and was very successful in it.
She couldn't hold in her joy and mockery against this loving couple. Seeing them together made her blood boil, she didn't have a successful love story so they didn't deserve to have it too so she made sure she caused destruction into their union.... She knew that her attack will either kill one or two of those babies in her womb will die and Sharon will be barren for life.
Just that had created a deep hole in their hard headed relationship and that was the best feeling she had for long time. Nobody deserved happiness since she didn't get it.
"I did it, I destroyed her....Your relationship will never ever be the same again Aaron" Serina said in spite as an evil smile blossomed on her face.
Aaron felt devastated hearing what Serina said. She actually suceeded...she suceeded in breaking Sharon's spirit and he knew that their relationship won't be the same again due to the child loss.
Aaron looked up at Serina and felt disgust, she was so disgustingly evil. She had to die once and for all or else who knows our many lives she'll destroy with her cunningness.
And he was going to make sure that he killed her himself, she had to go or else the realms will always be in chaos and with her gone those demons would have to return back to hell from where they came and all the realms she terrorized will be free from her tyrannical reign over them.
Nobody could kill her cause she felt untouchable, her powers seemed unending but he himself knee that wasn't true. Just like her father she also couldn't control the darkness inside of her but his father had once defeated her father so he was sure he could do this.
As much as he despised his father and the powers he inherited from him, cause his own powers couldn't do it so he had no choice but to use it now to stop her. It was the only way and he knew he had to do it now that she was fully occupied in her happiness of breaking Sharon.
He knew what he had to use to kill her once and for all, His father's legendary sword 'Londith', that was passed onto him by his mother. It was forged by the ones above. The ones who created all and gave the dieties the power to rule over all the realms.
He didn't ever imagine that he'd have to use it cause he wanted to live a carefree peaceful life but all that couldn't be happening with Serina around so it was about time he made a decision to stop her.
He carefully dropped his wife on the ground as some female Entiricans surrounded her as it was time she would give birth. Though prematurely but it had to be done or else her life and the child's life will be at big risk.
He stood upright and summoned the sword using a spell that he muttered quietly and he felt that familiar gust of wind. The sword was coming but it was coming with disaster and death. He turned his attention to Serina who looked confused and curious on what he was planning to do.
Aaron stretched forth his hand as he awaited the sword's arrival and soon enough the sword arrived and the black miasma in the cloud cleared and was immediately replaced by bolts of lightening and clashes of thunder.
Aaron knew he had to send the Entiricans away to keep them safe so he turned as his eyes looked around for Darius. When he found him, he telepathically told him to vacate the battleground with the rest of the Entiricans before he gave the final lethal blow.
Then he put all his concentration on Serina who was approaching him slowly but with some kind of hidden confidence. He wondered what else she had up her sleeves. He decided to keep her busy until all the Entiricans vacated the battle field or at least kept a very safe distance from them. He knew that the battleground would never ever be the same again after he uses the sword but this was his only way.
He observed his surroundings carefully as he walked backwards and he saw the last batch of Entiricans about teleport away and Darius looked at him with so much encouragement and he nodded in acknowledgement back at him before the disappeared.
Now he had nothing to lose here. His wife had been taken away and was in the middle of labour, he knew he should be with her but he had to kill Serina or else his wife's mind will never be at peace for letting Serina go just like that.... After all what she did.
He stopped dead in his tracks as he watched Serina approach him and placed the edge of the sword on his palm and slashed himself with force so as to gather enough blood for the sword.
Then he raised the sword up as blood leaked out of his palm but he didn't seem to mind as he was very focused on the task at hand.
He closed his eyes and muttered another spell again as the rain began to pour heavily on them and the sword began to shake heavily in Aaron's arms and his blood covered the entire sword as it was now blood red and when he opened his eyes, Serina noticed that it was also red like the sword and she knew something was wrong so she took a defensive stance and pointed her sword out at him.
But Aaron looked possessed as he walked towards her and even with her sword pointed towards him, he still walked towards the sword and the sword pierced through his body a little. Serina gasped but still steeled her resolve to make sure she got out of here alive.
She pierced the sword deeper into him but it didn't seem to affect him at all. He even walked towards her with the sword in him but then he grabbed the sword with his free hand and squeezed it as he bled but it didn't faze him. Serina was still in a daze on what he was doing when she heard her sword crack and she heard it again and suddenly her sword broke like a glass being thrown forcefully on the floor.
Even the one in his body broke into pieces and came out of him and immediately turned into dust, just that made Serina stagger backwards as she created a lot of space between her and Aaron but he was still progressing and now he had the sword pointed directly at her.
She turned around and ran to increase the distance but Aaron also launched foward with his sword and then Serina knew she was done for.... She barely escaped death some days ago and now she was in the same situation again. She would be kidding to think she could escape it this time.
She knew that she was going to end there as she could smell death already. So she closed her eyes and expected the pain and her life flashed before her eyes. Her only source of happiness....Her son. She prayed that he'll be fine after her death.
She heard Aaron shout as he stabbed the sword into her and she gasped as she expected the pain but she didn't feel it. Her brows knitted in confusion as she wondered if she wasn't meant to feel any pain then she opened her eyes and saw a familiar figure in front of her.
'How did he get here' she wondered.
And a sword was poking out from his back.
'Wait No Darin!' Did her son just sacrifice himself for her?.
