Seconds turned into minutes and minutes turned into hours but there was no sign of Salish waking up.
Anderson Kim, the king of Lavatron, was sitting on the bed on which his precious daughter, Salish Kim was laid on.
Her condition made him worried sick, after all he still had a heart of a father.
"King, she has been given the required medications upon your instructions so that the princess would be able to understand, speak, read and write our language." Said Arther James, the right-hand man of Anderson Kim, the King.
"Arther, announce it to the Council Members that me, the King of Lavatron, has told to gather in the great hall for a meeting. Also, write messages each and every vampire sent outside the palace for whatever work must report back to the palace within seven moons and yes, send General of Battles into this room." Said Anderson Kim giving Arther a side eye.
"As you wish, our King". Said Arther before leaving the room to complete the appointed work.
Five minutes passed and the silent hallway was disturbed by the footsteps of the General of Battle, War.
"I was informed that you summoned me, King." Said the General after entering the room.
"Yes, I did. I have told you many times that I trust you and gave you many important works which you carried out without failing me and I am proud of that." Said the King while getting up from the bed.
"Yes, King, it has been an honor to serve you my loyalty." Said the General looking at the chest of his King.
"Hmm, today I must entrust you with something which is very close to my heart, my daughter." Said the King.
The General's face was quickly covered with confusion and a bit of horror while the King only laughed on seeing his condition.
"No, do not misunderstand me. I do not ask your hand for the marriage of my daughter, yet. I just want you to stay with her and do everything she wishes to do, until I return from a meeting. Also, there is a possibility that, I may require to go out of the palace right after the meeting ends to check on the neighboring capital." Said the King.
"I see, I will not disappoint you moreover this is just a small task. Do not worry." Said the General with a slight relief in his voice.
"Yes, it might seem like a small task to you but trust me, my daughter is a big troublemaker. I hope you can take care of your mental state while being with her." Said the King with a proud smile on his face.
"Yes King." Said the General.
And later Salish's father left for his meeting after another half-an-hour of staying with his daughter after appointing his trusted man to stay on guard for his beloved daughter.
The General of the Battle fields was known to be a very strong, ruthless and a tough man. He was also known as a man of anger yet brain. His decision never involved any feelings. He was said to be made up rock. His toned and well-shaped abs and the arms full of muscles and veins, eyes with no emotion showed his strengths.
He entered the training camp for masters when he was around fourteen thousand years old.
The man grumbled in anger as he was called between a training session between him and his juniors just to watch over a sleeping girl?
"When is this girl going to wake up?" He mumbled and went towards the balcony of her huge luxurious room which provided a wide view of the grounds.
He closely monitored his men training under the guidance of another General. But he was the General of Etiquette weapons who lacked ton of knowledge, which was required in fighting, in battlefield.
He gave out a disappointing sigh after seeing how his men were left free after running just twelve rounds of the twenty-one-acre land.
He was disturbed by the yell of the girl who had fainted hours ago after entering their world through a portal from a different universe. Yes, Salish was now awake.
Waking up with a great headache, Salish rubbed her eyes trying to figure what had just happened with her.
The bed was soft but too much softer than what it was at her house. Still in sleep she reached out to grab her phone but was forced to open her eyes when she couldn't find it.
After the realization hit her hard, Salish quickly got up and sat up on the bed, folding her legs and the next second was the entry of War in the room.
Seeing another unfamiliar figure Infront of her, panic took over her.
"I'm I kidnapped? But which kidnapper would have such a soft bed? Damm, that guy's muscles look Hella big. If I try to escape, I might be killed, Oh God! please him " She thought to herself while on the other hand, War was observing her strange behavior.
Salish gulped out the lump in her throat and seeing him looking her, Salish finally bought up the courage the ask him, "Where am I? Who are you? Why am I here?..." Salish started her questionnaire noticing that her surroundings were completely unfamiliar leaving the General completely annoyed.
The general was used to giving out orders and no one was ever able to question his sayings. So, partly, Salish Kim was the first ever living being on the planet who dared to ask him questions while looking straight into his eyes while sitting on the bed.
"One question followed by another, princess." Said The General calmly.
"Okay. So, first one. Who are you?" Replied Salish.
"I am The General of Battlefields of this Kingdom." Said The General.
"What is your name?" Again, asked Salish.
"War, it's War Haselman, princess." The General said being surprised. No one knew or rather asked for his full name other the Castle's Officials but now, a girl thousands of years younger than him knew it well.
"So, War-" Salish was cutted off by him.
"It would better if you do not call me by the name and stick to calling me General. That's what everyone calls me, princess" Said he.
"Okay, I have no problem with that but wait, can you please explain what you meant by battlefields and kingdom and all?" Asked Salish with a small frown on her face, who was completely clueless of her surroundings.
"You recently landed on our planet through an unknown portal." Said him.
"What?" Replied she with nothing but disbelief in her voice.
"How can this ever happen? The theory of a parallel universe was never proven by any of the scientist! IF YOU ARE JOKING THEN PLEASE STOP!" Yelled Salish at the end.
"I have been patiently waiting for you to come in your right senses and talk like a mature lady like your described you to be but seems like you lost your mind and manners after going through the portal." Said the General, trying to keep himself calm.
The filled with heavy breathes of Salish and the endless thoughts of The General. Salish who was trying to figure out what his words meant was gripping the soft blankets which provided her warmth and comfort, and The General was busy observing the emotion girl.
"I shall leave you alone for a moment. I will return along with your father. He will be the right person to answer your questions, princess." Said The General after turning around.
"Wait!" Called out Salish. "Why are you addressing me with the term 'Princess'"? Asked she while getting out of the bed.
"Because your father, namely Anderson Kim, is the King of this massive Kingdom called Lavatron, princess." He replied and walked out of the room leaving her in complete shock, frozen on her place.
Today, so many 'Firsts' were filled in the blanks of War's life. For the first time he met someone this daring but the question which came in his mind was "Will her behavior still be the same after she figures out her true identity and the position she holds?".
On Salish's side, she was eager to know what new trouble she had gotten herself into and which more troubles and mysteries awaited her yet on the other side War could only imagine how much crazier the princess of the Kingdom would be.
The King's words now, felt very true to him. The girl was indeed trouble but little did he knew that this was just the beginning.
