Standing in another unfamiliar but darkish red room with no windows for air ventilation, she was already feeling suffocated.
She was standing for the previous five minutes which felt like over a decade to her. Whenever she turned around to ask the people outside the room who were mostly butlers or maids, none of them even dared to look into her eyes, replying was a next level case.
Annoyed and super hungry, she moved her curious eyes to finally scan the room and take a few steps ahead to explore it.
Piles of paper were left in one place while books of laws were neatly arranged in order on the bookshelves in the right side of the room.
The room's furniture was greatly impressive, sparkling with gold and silver while the floor matched the vibe very much.
"This looks so cool." Salish thought to herself.
With curiosity increasing she went near the table and saw a photo frame.
"Photos exist in whatever this place is? But the scene looks like of in early eighties." She thought not believing that this ancient period of time could have something this precious.
She held it with her hands and found it really cute. There was a guy in his thirties carrying a little girl in a pink flower dress and cute black and white sandals with two ponytails who was seemed smiling and giggling.
The picture unknowingly made her smile. This was her first smile after unexpectedly landing on this planet but it soon faded away when she saw something familiar. The girl looked like her younger self.
"Is my brain starting to get ridiculous after landing on this planet for instance?" She said keeping the photo frame down in hurry. Her breathes became unstable for a minute while her mind was still working out on figuring out the heck she just saw.
Gathering up some courage she again decided to take a look at the picture again but then was greatly startled when a sudden voice ranged throughout the room.
"So, you are finally here." Said The King, Anderson Kim.
She turned around to see a man dressed in Long under tunics made of silk and embroidered with gold thread, some parts of the tunics were also purple which was usually reserved for the clothing of kings and was a sign of prestige at this time and wore a pair of shiny black shoes with golden highlights.
"His clothes seem to have rich use of silk and fur. I think it's normal here." Salish thought seeing the man.
"Why don't you have a seat dear?" Asked him.
"I'm fine." She briskly replied.
"You might be wondering why you are here, am I right?" He got nothing a small nod from Salish in her response.
"Dear, I know this might be a lot to take in but, it's me, dad." He said with soft eyes looking straight into her widened ones.
"H-How? T-That's not-t even p-possible..." Replied she with immense wave of shock washing over her.
"Radish, I know you might be shocked, but you see, you are the pure-blooded princess of Lavatron. The place you are standing, completely belongs to you. I might have taken away whatever you had on Earth for now but do not worry, you can always go back and spend time in the company whenever you feel like it." Said The father's heart.
"B-but..." She tried to reason but failed against the will of her heart.
"Please do not say 'No'. We need you here. This father and your Kingdom need you here." He said
"Daddy... I missed you so much!" She said she gave her dad a tight hug.
Finally, with the support of fates and the mercy of all the elements of the universe, the father-daughter's love reunited. One could thank only less for it. It felt very different yet amazing in some ways.
The embrace she cried to be in for the past ten years have finally came to her and there was no way she was going to leave him.
After the midst of emotional moments. Salish got her composure back and felt better after at least knowing that she was in the world of magic. A place which she could only think that it existed in movies like her favorite series of Harry Potter. No more fear but a hint of excitement rushed through her veins.
"I... am a princess?" She asks holding her father's hand, smiling still not believing his words.
"Yes, you are radish. You are a royalty. You are the proof of the pure bloodline of the royal family but..." He abruptly stopped in the middle.
"But?" She asked with her smile slowly fading away sensing the seriousness behind his pause.
"The thing is dear... this is afterlife, and the afterlife is not a type of place which the earthers say it to be." He said looking deep in eyes.
"What do you mean by that?" Asked she with her brows slowly meeting each other.
"Here, people are not angels but a kind of demons and spirits. All the paranormal activities which take place on earth are connected with this afterlife. The residents on this planet have different species of Vampires in them." He spoke.
"But this is supposed to be a happy place, right?" She asked.
"It indeed is dear, most of the residents of this palace mean no harm to you. They are trained, they are loyal, but I told you about this to just to keep you aware that during your stay here, you must not let your guard down or else... you know it better than anyone else what will happen." He said before fixing his composure.
"Are you trying to threaten me or warn me?" Asked the father's beloved daughter.
"I, personally, feel like gave you an important piece of advice, the rest is up to you and how you take it." He said after walking towards the door.
"Now, save your questions for another day. It's time to get you to be introduced as a princess to the council. You may go back to your room. Your personal maid, Sally will guide you and take care of everything you need." He said before exiting the room.
"Tsk, he thinks he is cool but in reality, he is just not. When will it get inside his head, food knows." Muttered Salish under her breathe.
"Your Highness, my name is Sally and your father or The King, has assigned me to take care of you." Said the maid.
"Nice to meet you, Sally." Said Salish with a warm smile on her gentle lips.
"Your Highness, it's time to get you ready for your first meeting with the officials. I and my fellow companions will be giving you a complete makeover as your current outfit is not suitable for the meeting." Said Sally the maid.
The moment Sally mentioned the word outfit. Salish's eyes widened and she realized that she is no longer wearing her blue pajama with Pororo the penguin's prints on it.
"I remember I had it on when I fell in the water out of blue but then I woke up in a room with no one but a muscle man Infront of me.... that means.... no, no, no! He didn't see it, did he?" She shook her head trying to change her thoughts.
"Sally, do you have any idea who changed my clothes?!" She asked in the midst of panic.
