It had been an hour since the world was brought to this strange place, as Diedrich was exploring the woods he found out that after going straight in one direction he reached an area where there were no more people and going a little further there were no more trees, just open plains.
Just as Diedrich was about to take a step out of the forest, into the open grassy fields that seemed to expand endlessly, there was something like an invisible force that repelled Diedrich, making him bounce back 2 meters. Due to being shocked, Diedrich didn't make a pretty landing, and rolled on the ground, luckily the force wasn't great and he only scraped his knee but Diedrich was still bewildered as he thought "is this a barrier"?
Diedrich had read a lot of fantasy novels so he instantly understood that there was a barrier, however he was still shocked as that was something from fantasy books and couldn't happen in reality.
Diedrich then thought about getting sucked up by the black hole and being brought to this strange place and the messages in his head and he thought it made more sense.
"So this is a fantasy world",
Diedrich wanted to confirm that there was a barrier once more, he found a small stick on the ground and casually threw it to the area in front, and again just before the stick passed the area out of the forest it was bounced back, however Diedrich noticed that the stick was not going back the speed that he threw it but faster much faster and it was aiming for Diedrich.
Diedrich panicked and quickly ducked to the ground ,the stick just barely passed over his head and logged itself in a tree behind him, Diedrich was shocked and thought " F*ck if I was slightly slower I'd have a stick stuck in my skull, I should be more careful"
However Diedrich became a bit curious as he did not throw the stick straight at the barrier but at a slight curve so technically the stick shouldn't have aimed for him but it did.
"So does that mean that everything will be repelled from the original position it was thrown" Diedrich thought as he grabbed a few more sticks and threw them at the same spot but from different positions, however he threw them more softly and after throwing immediately rolled to the side for safety precautions. Diedrich was correct as all the sticks bounced back to the position Diedrich threw them from.
Just as Diedrich wanted to throw another stick there was a message.
Ding "Inhabitants of world Tellus(Earth) have had an hour to adjust, Trial will now begin"
"Type of trial: Survival, 5 days"

When Diedrich heard the message he was shocked and thought "This really is a fantasy world, but I have never heard of creation cubes?".
As Diedrich was thinking he gradually revealed a slight smile as he thought "this is certainly exciting", however his excitement soon turned into worry as he thought about his family who probably had to survive this ordeal too and especially his brother who was 11 years old.
Although Diedrich quickly stopped thinking about it as he knew that he couldn't do anything about it for the time being, he was still unsettled.
Calming himself down, Diedrich went searching for a stick he could use to defend himself. Should creatures like goblins, orcs, or earth wolves show up, really what even is an earth wolf, a wolf made out of mud?
Soon he found a stick that was about a meter long and looked sturdy enough to knock someone out and not snap in half after one hit, Diedrich was pretty satisfied.
As Diedrich was holding the stick he thought it was strange that he hadn't spotted a single creature yet, and that it was probably because he was at the edge of the trial zone.
However Diedrich soon retracted that thought as he saw a small creature about the height of a toddler walking in the distance, Diedrich sneaked closer to the creature and saw its features.
The little creature was probably a goblin from what he remembered. It was completely dark green, had pointy ears, was skinny, basically anorexic had an ugly face with a big hawk-like nose, and its mouth was filled with rows of little sharp teeth. The only thing it was wearing was a beast-like skin around its waist, with a little dagger attached to it that looked like a large tooth from some animal.
It looked like the goblin was searching for something as it was looking everywhere in its surrounding, however Diedrich hid behind a tree so that it wouldn't see him, as Diedrich was observing the goblin and seeing the tooth like dagger he thought to himself "Why the F*ck do they have weapons and I have a stick this is not fair at all"
Diedrich didn't dare to openly approach the goblin while it was still holding the dagger as it could easily cut his skin, while the goblin was searching Diedrich slowly approached using the tree's as cover, slowly getting closer to the goblin while it was looking the other way.
Eventually Diedrich came close enough to the Goblin that he was in its hearing range so Diedrich diden't approach anymore and waited till the goblin dropped its guard.
"Tudd, Tudd, Thud"
Someone was running heavily in the woods close to where the goblin and Diedrich were and collapsed, looking extremely wounded.
The Goblin seeing this was getting ready to go after the wounded human, however just as the goblin wanted to go, it heard something behind him and looked getting ready to defend himself, but it was already too late as all he saw was another human swing a big tree branch against his face.
The person who smashed the goblins face was Diedrich. The goblin flew in the air for about a meter and landed heavily on the floor, it wasn't dead yet and was struggling to get up.
Diedrich saw the Goblin as it was struggling and trying to scream out in pain however due to its head being disfigured after being hit only weird sounds came out, the goblins head being partly dented with lots of blood gushing out.
Diedrich didn't care about the goblins' pain as he knew the goblin would have gone over to that person and killed him, as when the goblin saw the wounded person falling to the ground it revealed a wicked disgusting smile. As the goblin was struggling to get back up Diedrich walked over to it and immediately bashed its head in again and again until it stopped moving.
As Diedrich was standing in front of the lifeless goblin he thought to himself " this is what killing feels like huh, why do I feel nothing", at that moment he heard a message inside his head.
