Diedrich was awoken by rain. Just as he had thought it was the system's way of telling the participants it was the start of a new day.
Diedrich's body had mostly recovered, there were still some scars however he only felt some aching and his wounds had all closed up.
Diedrich was excited, as he had a clear plan for what he was going to do today. He quickly went down the tree and sneakily went closer to the lair of the goblins.
When he heard a lot of footsteps and felt the earth vibrating he knew it was the goblin army again, so he climbed a tree and waited for the goblins to pass.
After the goblins passed he went down and inconspicuously headed toward the goblin lair.
When Diedrich arrived he furrowed his brows but then relaxed them, he had assumed that since there were so many goblins leaving the lair during the day there wouldn't be any goblins protecting it, making him able to destroy the creation cube the system talked about which he expected to be in their lair, earning some easy points, however, he was wrong as twenty goblins were protecting the lair.
"10 spear goblins and 10 Goblin warriors should be manageable". Diedrich had tested his new power earlier and was able to lodge his entire fist into a tree, so he was definitely much more powerful than before and wanted to test it on life subjects.
The goblins were right in front of the lair and some were walking around. Diedrich climbed up a tree from where he could see them clearly and threw a dagger at an unsuspecting goblin warrior that was patrolling.
The dagger hit the goblin's chest, making it fall down and bleed to death in a few minutes, the other goblins were surprised and hurried to their fallen comrade.
Once there, the goblins were confused as they didn't see who the killer was.

Once Diedrich saw the goblins grouped around their fallen comrade he began to throw more daggers, the four goblin warriors all died, even though not all of them died with one hit, two was enough.
Diedrich's throwing speed and distance had increased considerably so doing this was not very difficult, although you needed a lot of concentration and accuracy to go with it.
The other goblins all noticed the pile of corpses and gathered around them. looking around dumbfounded, the goblins were on high alert as they didn't know where their enemy was.
There were now fourteen goblins left however Diedrich didn't continue to attack in the same manner, planning to slowly chip away at their numbers until he could easily defeat the rest, Diedrich had to change his approach.
A few minutes later the goblins calmed down and continued with their original duties, however, it seemed they now walked in groups, the four surviving goblin warriors were now all grouped together, while the spear goblins decided to join up in pairs.
Diedrich seeing the goblins group up was elated, this would make it easier for him. Diedrich being up a tree could spot through the layers of foliage a group of spear goblins walking in his direction, "I can finally test my real power" Diedrich mused while smirking.
Diedrich quickly went off the tree and waited for the goblins to exit the area of the lair so that he could ambush them without having to worry about backup.
When they were far enough Diedrich revealed himself. He was confident in his strength and thought he could easily defeat the goblins now, and he was right.
When the two spear goblins saw Diedrich they both make "Gi Gi" noises and rushed towards him, Diedrich became a bit nervous remembering his last encounter however when they were close enough to stab Diedrich, he avoided the spear and stabbed back at them with his own, not expecting the humans speed to match theirs one of the spear goblins immediately got pierced and died.
The other goblin then attacked, Diedrich stepped to the side and avoided its spear once past him he caught it with his bare hands and ripped it out of the spear goblin's hands.
The spear goblin didn't show any fear and began to fight barehanded. Diedrich, wanting to test his power, dropped the spear behind him fighting the goblin man to man.
The Goblin lunged forwards at Diedrich, seeing the obvious attack he performed an uppercut, as his fist and the goblin's jaws connected it instantly K.O.ed the spear goblin.
laying on the ground in a daze Diedrich pierced the goblin through its head and heard the lovely notification.

Diedrich became excited knowing he could now easily dispatch spear goblins even if they were in groups of two he reckoned he could even fight a group of 3 spear goblins.
After 2 hours Diedrich had killed the rest of the goblin warriors and three more of the spear goblins. The other spear goblins now definitely knew that something was up and all huddled together in front of their lair.
Diedrich saw this and racked his brain about what to do as he didn't think he could fight 5 spear goblins without risking an injury, he wasn't even confident in fighting 4.
However Diedrich eventually came up with a plan that could resolve it, instead of throwing daggers, why not spears? looking at the five extra spears he now had Diedrich inched closer to the lair.
slowly taking out one of the seven spears from his back he arched his back and arm, then when he thought he had a good shot at them he threw the spear, the spear zipped through the air, and was heading towards one of the goblins however it didn't hit and passed it with more than two meters between them.
"Fuck" , Diedrich was a bit embarrassed, he thought he was some kind of throwing genius, and in all fairness he was, he had been able to hit goblins accurately from 1-10 meters away however, the goblins now were about 15 meters away from him.
The goblins, noticing where the flying spear came from, bellowed and charged at Diedrich.
Diedrich wasn't too worried as he had more spears and waited for the goblins to come in closer proximity, once they were Diedrich began throwing spears again and hit two of them, one in the leg while the other in the arm, so the three that were left were more manageable to Diedrich with a strategy of constantly throwing daggers and stabbing out with the spear he was able to subdue them.

When Diedrich heard these notifications he was immensely happy, though a bit disappointed that he didn't upgrade again after he got 100 points.
Diedrich then looked at the lair that went underground, standing in front of it Diedrich decided to enter but to only take three spears with him and four daggers, as he felt he would be more flexible and faster without too much weight.
As Diedrich went into the cave he found out that there was cold wind in the air blowing against his face, luckily Diedrich could still see as the walls seemed to have a luminescent effect, the walls in the cave became wider and wider until he eventually reached an open double door or gate made out of wood, each door stood at an impressive height of three meters tall and 1.5 meters wide.
What was even more impressive though was the area behind the doors, the area seeming like a flat cave was at least 300 meters wide and long, while the ceiling reached 5 meters, Diedrich was dumbfounded.
Looking inside the room Diedrich immediately spotted a completely black shiny cube floating strangely above the ground as it rotated in place, astonished by seeing something so magical Diedrich wanted to take a closer look however when he looked at what was below the cube, he became horrified.
