Jones was already at the car park waiting for Anna to wrap up with her work. When she was through she made her way to the parking lot.
"I am so sorry I was just filling Nancy in on what she was supposed to help me do I am usually not supposed to leave work this early" Anna said shy with embarrassment.
"its okay let's just go out and have fun" he said smiling and he opened the door of the car for her. With this kind gesture, Annabelle could not help to wonder what a gentleman man he was, maybe she just mis-interpreted his actions earlier. She smiled and entered the car. Now she was sure that he was a billionaire. It was a black Tesla Model S, it had nice leather seats that were so comfortable, a flat screen in the middle of the passenger and driver's seat that Anna assumed to be the equipment for controlling the car settings. It also had other cool features like the LED lights and small basement for keeping things. Anna had never seen anything like it. She was really impressed.
"Your car is beautiful I must say" Anna had to say.
"Not as beautiful as you" Anna's eyes snapped open surprised by his reply. He was really a flirt 'she thought.
"Stop" she said gigging. "So where are we going to?, I hope my dressing wouldn't be too odd for the place we are going"
"No. You look just fine, besides we are going somewhere casual, so you shouldn't bother about your dressing" he said ignoring the first question that she asked.
After the 25 minutes drive, they arrived at a fast food restaurant and indeed Anna didn't have to worry about her dressing. It was a fairly big place, there was a spot for playing billard, a bar area and also tables and chairs for eating. Jones guided her to a table that was at the farthest end of the place and pulled out a chair for her.
"Thank you" she said before taking a sit.
He then called for a waiter and placed their orders. She ordered a king size burger, chicken nuggets and some mustard sauce to go with it while he ordered chicken and fries.
"So Anna, I want us to know more about each other, so I will start first. I am Phillip Jones , I am 27 years old, I am the owner of Belvery hotel....I am pretty much a business man" He said
"As you know, I am Annabelle Woods, 20 years of age, I just got my admission to Harvard university, I live with brother and mom...my dad died since I was a child, yh...that's pretty much all about me"
"Ohhh...I am sorry about that. Congratulations on your admission...what course are you going into?"
"That's fine. I am majoring in computer science, I pretty much live electronics and I don't mean to brag but I am good at it" Anna said chuckling. And just about then, their food came.
"Wow. This looks delicious,shall we eat" he said and without waiting any longer Anna went straight for the burger, it was delicious, she thought. She made sure to save the nuggets for last because that was her favourite. While they were eating he asked
"Do you have any favourite hobbies?"
"Uhmmm....not much, I guess it is only electronics that I love dealing with, but when I was younger, I took ballet classes, goshhh, it was good but I couldn't take it any longer my back always hurt so the only hobby I have now is computer stuff" Anna said smiling before taking a bite from her nugget then immediately her facial expressions changed and he definitely noticed it because he had his eyes on her all the time
"Is anything wrong?" He asked a little worried
"I am sorry but the chicken nugget takes funny and the smell is irritating me" Anna said and she was confused as to why she said it. She had never reacted like this when it came to eating chicken nuggets. In fact she loved it so much.
"What is wrong with the nuggets" Jones took one of them from her plate and ate it. It definitely tasted fine to him so what was she saying, He thought to himself.
"Anna the nuggets taste fine so what is the problem?" He asked as confused as ever.
"It tas-" Anna couldn't complete her sentence as her hand flew to her mouth covering it to prevent herself from throwing up. What the heck was happening to her, she thought to herself.
"Waiter!" Jones said switching to alert mode.
"Please where is the rest room" he asked
"Umm it is-" " you know what just take us there" he said interrupting the waitress as he held Anna by her waist and followed the waitress to the restroom.
When they got to the rest room, Anna vomited, removing everything that she ate, it felt as if she would vomit her whole guts out. When she was finally done, Jones gave her a paper towel to clean her mouth and she did. She was already feeling so embarrassed vomitting in front of someone she just met and had interest in her.
"I am so sor-" And again she vomited, not in the sink but on his shirt. Her eyes widened in shock and fear, yep she was dead, she thought.
"I am so sorry, let me clean it" she said and went to take the toilet paper and tried to clean the mess she made on his shirt. Then he held her hand to stop her. "It's okay, it's just a shirt, I can throw it away and get a new one, we should be worried about you, you don't look so good, don't you think we should go to the hospital?" He said. Anna was really surprised. Any human being would have chopped her head off for what she just did. She was really starting to like this man because of his kindness.
"No need...I have already troubled you enough, I don't want to cause you any more trouble. I think I should just go home and have some rest. I am probably too stressed out" she said still trying to clean his shirt but he didn't allow her.
"I will take you home, don't worry about my shirt and if you are still vomiting by tomorrow you can take the day off"
Wow he was really a gentle man,she thought
"No. I am sure I will be fine by tomorrow" she smiled.
"okay let me take you home, shall we"
Jones took her to the address that she directed him to.
"Thank you for the meal. I am so sorry for disrupting our dinner. And I am sorry for the trouble I caused you" Anna said still feeling embarrassed
"Its okay. Just make sure you are okay"
"Sure. Good night" Anna said then went inside.
