MY MOM USED TO ALWAYS TELL ME I should never stop believing anything, because even though they weren't as the movies and books told us, fairy tales were very much real and everything could happen in out life.
Well, one can retort saying: But Andy, your mom was a best seller fantasy writer, of course se would believe in fairy tales.
And you have a point!
Yes, that may be right, but my mom was magical. She was fucking magical. Let me tell you something that she made me keep it a secret from everyone.
She could do stuff no normal humans could. Such as making things fly with her mind, use her freakish ability to do multiple stuff at the same time, like writing and cooking a meal for us. And there's one more thing.
Mom never told me in depth, but she always said she wasn't from here, like... From this world and something like that.
I never knew who my biological father was, I only know I came to be after a one night stand and I was planned.
...Not just me, but my other five twin sisters too. Yes, we are sextuplets. It's insane, especially because we all have different eye colors, and bizarre ones at that.
I'm the oldest, and my eyes are ruby red. Thea's the second oldest, with eyes that shine like emerald. Jasmine, the first middle sister, has sapphire blue eyes. Rosalyn's the second middle sister has citrine golden-ish eyes. Then there's the second youngest, Nayara, with her diamond soft silver-ish iris. Lastly, our youngest twin, Karalyn, with her amethyst eyes.
Now you ask me, what color are mom's eyes? She has heterochromia, her left eyes is as black as obsidian, whereas her right eye is of a rich shade of dark pink. Weird too. However, we all use light brown lens to hide our eyes from the others who might make a fuss about it.
One more reason why we believe our mom.
Confusing, I know. Still, Pandora Maya, our dear mom, raised us all by herself, at 19 years old, in a island in the Caribbean. Thankfully, she's filthy rich because her fantasy books are so famous that she even got to make movies, tv shows, animations and comics from it. Not to mention all the shit themed with her books exist out there.
Nope. We never read it. Neither do we want to.
Why? Well, a bunch of her books are 18-rated writer. Yes. You got it. She was always very open with me, and since I was old enough to understand she told me that there were explicit sexual and gore stuff in her books. A lot of smut.
I don't know about you, but I don't feel well reading smut written by non-other than my dear mother. Ew. No, I pass.
Even the vanilla books I refused to read.
But well, she always loved writing and I was happy for her. Always. Her joy was contagious and I'm not the most joyous person, let me tell you.
She writes under an alias of Rowena J. Aveline, all to stay low profile, and although her fans always wonder who or how she looks like, she never wields on that. That's how we were able to have such a peaceful life in the Island and in Misha Manor.
No, we were not homeschooled, we studied from our fundamental years until our highschool graduation in Destry Academy, the private prep school of the island. Nevertheless, we were always the weird kids for being six twins and all of that, so we never really made friends and we stayed with each other.
Yes, mom being a fantasy smut writer played a part on it, especially because all the teachers and staff of the school has read her books. Kind of embarrassing.
We didn't go to college after it though. Nope, we stayed here in the Manor with our mom as per her request. We graduated at 18, and she asked us to stay here until we turned 21 years old, and as we never really wanted to leave, we accepted it gladly and began helping manage the place that was more of a Castle than anything, seeing how huge it was.
No one else works here, only mom and the six of us. She always said 7 was a lucky number and that things should stay always around that because it would bring a better luck. And with the powers she has, she can get the Manor cleaned in a snap of her fingers, it's really mesmerizing.
Since the end of highschool we've been focusing on things we like, just as mom told us to. All of us are very artistic, both in music, acting, dancing, painting, drawing, and even writing, so we do that together. But regarding our personal interests it goes to different types of books, different types of fascinations, and we are very different on that.
Of course, we are sextuplets but we have different personalities. I guess that me and Thea are the most responsibility driven since we are the eldest. Jess and Rosa are more introspective and on their on mind but also very neutral about many thing and with the most open minded, as the two middle sisters. Whereas Nay and Kara are the most easygoing and silly, as well as the kindest, as the youngest.
Each of us has a weird obsession on different stuff, and so does mom, maybe that's why she hyped us on it since we were kids. Such as mom was always interested in witches, wizards, and demons. So, it's not surprising that all of her fantasy books are of such races.
I think me, Thea, and Kara are the ones with the less weird ones, together with mom, the same can't be said about my other sisters.
Like, can you believe Jess is into sea monsters such as Kraken? Oh my, I lost count of how me times we messed with her for being into tentacles. So much that she even read books about it. She even had a octopus as a pet until it died, and she doesn't eat sea food because of it.
Well, none of us eat sea food, but still. Her reasons are because of that, while we just don't like all that raw-fish thing.
Rosa is into minotaurs since we were children, all that Greek tales and the other weird tales mom used to tell us about it, she loved. I can't say the same, but it's less worse than Krakens to me.
Come on, I'm a Pirates of the Caribbean fan, I don't like the creature that destroy ships. Ew, can you believe Jess even had a crush on Dave Jones? Sounds like a joke, but it ain't. While I had a crush on Jack, of course.
Now we get to Nay... and that dumbass is into snakes. Yes. Snakes. You heard it just right. And not just snakes, but those horrifying giant snakes, Basilisk and all that shit. I'm low key terrified of it, so, you can imagine what I think.
She even tried to have a pet snake years ago but I said I would runaway from home if she did that. Yes, she's one of the youngest, I'm the oldest, maybe I should have tried to under her side. But damn it, I'm scared.
An octopus is one thing, it ain't getting out of the water. But a enormous snake? Are you shitting me? That shit would kill me in my sleep. I have no idea how she can have a thing for that, to a point of reading fantasy romances of it. Ew. I don't care if in the books they have two cocks, it doesn't make it less scary.
Now the more normal stuff, the ones we can understand just fine. Dragons, werewolves, vampires. See? This is understandable.
Thea is reasonably into dragons, and who isn't? They are cool, I get it. She even has a tattoo on her back of it (we all have one or two tattoos, maybe a bit more). And she told me they also have two cocks in the bizarre spicy novels she read, and like, I get the appeal. I'm not into it that way, but I get it.
It's not the same, but she had a pet lizard.
Kara is into werewolves. We always kind of discussed a lot about this because I'm into vampires, so yeah, but I get it. Wolves are cool, they are family to dogs and dogs are cool (though I'm honestly a cat person).
Werewolves are low key attractive. All that feral energy and all of that, my sister is into it, she always was. I want to blame Jacob from Twilight, but she was actually into it even before that.
Believe me, we fight over it since we were kids. Especially because every movie, tv show, and books always put them against vampires. I also like the whole moon affecting them aspect, but I'm still not really a fan. I understand? Yes. I like it? Nope.
She had a big husky, that resemble a wolf too and named him Jacob. See why I wanted to blame it on him?
Now, vampires? They are hot, come on. Dracula? Damon? Dimitri? Damned names with a D. I'm a sucker for it since I was a child. I remember dressing as Draculaura from Monster High and all of that stuff.
Almost my entire bookshelf if of vampire books, both soft and dark, vanilla and spicy. I can't get enough of it. Even the horror stories of vampires. Damn, amazing. Amazing.
I get it that most of them are fucked up and murders, but that doesn't make them less attractive. Would I date one? No, I wouldn't. But in my imagination they are amazing. Big walking red flags, but hot.
In reality I like my life the way it is, and I like my spotless neck, and all the blood inside my body, thank you. I'm not really interested in getting sucked like that. Still attracted to it, but wouldn't do it.
"What are you daydreaming about, Andy?" Thea snapped her fingers in front of my eyes, still holding her cup of gin with lemon.
It's our 21st birthday today, as well as Yule Day. I mean, what most people call Christmas. And is also Winter Solstice. We've been celebrating since morning, it's 11 pm now and mom already got back to her wing which is in the other side of the manor, so it's just us in the common room of our wing, drinking, eating pizza, and listening to songs that makes us feel hot.
Right now is playing Big Boy by SZA, which is the song we are all addicted to in the moment, which is good since we have the same musical taste.
I blinked, drinking a sip of my drink, a mixture of vodka, whiskey, and champagne. "You think we might have mom's weird powers?"
"She said that if we did, we would unlock it after we turned 21," Nay exclaimed smiling. "I hope we do. Can you imagine? We'll be able to do so much stuff that we've been seeing mom doing so far."
Rosa giggled, her citrine eyes glowing brighter as she drank a big sip of her marguerite, "I'm so looking forward for that!"
I bit my bottom lip, feeling as excited as they are, "We'll have to be careful and stay away of the others though. Just like mom did. Otherwise the government might try to get their hands on us."
Slapping my shoulder softly, Kara rolled her eyes, "Stop worrying so much, Andy. It'll be fine. Let's try to think positively, okay?"
"It's cuffing season, and now we get a reason, to get a big boy. I wanna a big, big, big boy," Jess sang, hitting the side of her hips on mine. "Don't worry, sis. It'll be fine. We'll be fine. We have two moms that can take care of us. You and mom," she winked making me gasp.
I pushed her softly, feeling my cheeks hot, "Speaking of mom, aren't you worried about what serious stuff she said she wanted to tell us tomorrow?"
Their sigh was synchronized. "You worry too much, Andromeda!" As synchronized as their complains.
Pressing my lips together, I let my fingers run through my long wavy honey hair, until the end of it that hang around my hips. We all look identical if not for our eye colors, not even a mole different from one another.
Same long hair, same big doe-shaped eyes, same straight dark brown eyebrows, same small high bright pointy nose, same freckles on our sharp cheekbones and nose and cheeks, same deep dimples on both cheeks, same heart-shaped rose full lips, same sharp v-jawline, same small ears, same long and thin neck, same sharp collarbones, same wide shoulders. Just as the same hourglass curvy body with wide d-cup breasts, incredibly tiny waist, wide hips with a full ass, toned thick thighs, toned abs, toned long legs, and our small feet. With the same tanned skin after spending so much time in the beaches.
Of course, we are all of the same height, all 5'6" tall.
We don't look like our mom though. At least not entirely. Yes, we took her body shape, as well as the breasts and the ass, but it ends there. Our face looks nothing like hers and mom is a redhead.
She has waist-length crimson red hair, pearl-white skin, the peculiar obsidian-dark pink eyes in an almond-shape, curved dark red eyebrows, round small nose, chubby cheeks, slightly-full lips, dimples on both corners of her lips, no freckles at all, a small dark mole in the middle of her forehead, her ears are small but different from ours, her collarbones don't show as much as ours do, and her feet is a number higher than ours. Oh, and of course, mom's 5'8" tall.
Many people think she dyes her hair, but she doesn't, that's really her natural color. One more sign that shows how she really isn't from here, although she never really told us about that.
"Maybe she'll tell us about where she came from. Or even about our dad," Jess's voice snapped me out of it.
Kara nodded intensely, "She's right, sis. We always asked mom about it, maybe she'll tell us. So, don't worry yourself too much, okay? It'll be fine."
