Chapter 3 - CHAPTER 2

Torson tries to ask what she wants, but he cannot talk. It's like he can't even breathe. She stares at him for the last time and then turns around and leaves.

"You must be confused," a voice pointed out.

It was Prince Elmar. He was from another country. He came to visit the royal family for a couple of days.

"Wh-what do you mean?" Torson asks nervously. Torson realizes that he can speak again.

"You are not from around here, are you" questions Elmar.

"What are you talking about? Is that what she was thinking too?" Asks Torson as he is trying to change the topic.

"She has autism. Everybody in Sikhadom should know that. Unless you don't belong here…" Elmar says as he walks closer to Torson.

"I don't understand…" says Torson as he slowly walks back as Elmar's suspicion rises.

They are interrupted by the servant telling them that it's time for dinner. Elmar backs off and follows the rest of the kids. Torson walks into the room they are headed to.

"Alright, there is a name on the dinner table. Each table has your name on it." says the house cleaner.

Elmar says, "I'm pretty sure your name is at least in one of them unless you are not supposed to be here…."

"I have to go to the bathroom," Torson exclaimed fearfully.

Elmar knows instantly that Torson isn't a royal because the direction Torson went wasn't where the bathroom was.

Torson continues walking to find the 'bathroom' he needs to go to and realizes he is lost! He ends up wandering around in a room full of jewelry. He trips on something, and he hears a glass break. He realizes the glass breaking is loud because he hears the children go silent. He tries to run out of the room, but Elmar is blocking his path. Elmar excused himself from the dinner table to follow Torson to see what he was doing.

"Well, well, well…" says Elmar.

"Awhh…." Torson tries to talk, but nothing comes out.

"I knew you didn't belong here. This isn't where the bathroom is. And I'm sure you aren't a royal and have no business being here," says Elmar.

"Dude, we can talk about this…" says Torson as he explains

"Who are you?" Demands Elmar.

He hears footsteps coming from the other room. It's Sikha. Veins start turning green and blue. He starts hyperventilating.

"Are you okay..." Asks Elmar, changing his face from demanding to quite concerned.

"Yeah… I'm just…. Yeah, I'm fine," Torson says as he struggles to say anything.

Finally, Sikha walks in and demands an explanation from both of them. Though Torson looked miserable and pathetic, Elmar was still more than ready to throw Torson under the bus. And so, he did.

"Lord, he does not belong here. He is an intruder." Says Elmar. Torson opens his eyes as he starts to cough out blood.

"What…" Sikha responds in slight confusion. There is silence.

"You…Is this true?" Sikha asks. Before Torson could even try to respond, Sikha turns his face to the tragedy that Torson has caused. Sikha's face turns to complete anger. Even a blind person could see that he was utterly furious. Finally, Torson realized what he was staring at. Torson has broken an expensive portrait of the royal family.

"WHO…. DID THIS...!!!!" Sikha screams at the top of his lungs.

"Yours truly. The person in front of you," Elmar boldly responds to Sikha, adding fuel to the fire. Sikha slowly turns his head to Torson.

"Hey, kid… what did you say your name was?" Sikha demanded.

"Torson, sir…" Torson responds as he spits out more blood. Sikha notices this thing that's happening to Torson. He takes a few steps back. Torson slowly starts to get better. Then, after careful observation, he calls Torson's mother and father. They arrive almost at once. Their jaws drop to the ground.

"Come with me…." Sikha demands.

"But… " Anneson tries to speak, but Sikha cuts her off

"I said… COME… WITH… ME!" He shouts as he walks out of sight. Torson's condition slowly goes away as Sikha leaves.

At that point, all the children were just staring at Torson after they arrived because of the noise coming from the room. Torson tries to make a run for the exit, but his vision suddenly gets significantly; before he knows it, he knocks down the girl he saw before. Her name was Avi.

"I'm sorry." Says Torson. He tries to reach out for her hand to help her get up. As soon as their hands touched, Torson's hand started burning, and his veins were bright red. She quickly pulls her hand back. Torson is as terrified as she is. She gets back up and faces Torson. She touches Torson with her thumb on his cheek as he blushes. Her 'thumb touch' leaves a mark that quickly disappears on his face. Kind of like how someone presses on a pale person's skin but more dangerous.

"I'm sorry…" says Avi after she steps back. Everybody can't believe what they are seeing. Torson, not knowing what just happened, runs out of the door blushing like hell. After a few runs, he realizes he still doesn't know how to leave the castle and is still lost. He ends up entering an open room and hears his parents begging someone. It was Sikha.

"Please, my Lord. He didn't know what he was doing. Please don't hurt him." says Anneson, altogether fearing Sikha.

Torson counters into another room and sees his parents, Sikha, the queen, and a couple of guards, and their conversation becomes clearer.

"It's not him I'm planning to punish," Sikha replies.

"What?" says Anneson, shocked.

Two guards come closer to them.

"How will he survive alone?!" says Moya, colossal in surprise.

"I don't care…" says Sikha. He continues… "You know very well how much I valued that piece of art, Moya! You all are of no use to me anyways. I will need a new host soon if I want my family to continue to rule this place."

"I'm sure there's another way to resolve this…" says Moya trying to convince Sikha.

"...Do you have gold and diamonds and 30 years' experience in art?" Asks Sikha…

Silence….

"That's what I thought…."

"You can't do this, my Lord." Says Anneson

"I just did…" says Sikha. In a blink of an eye, Anneson and Moya are killedbeforef Torson. Sikha then slightly turns to face Torson, who he knew very well was standing there the whole time. Sikha's stares felt like daggers to Torson. At that point, all the brain and body said was "run."

Torson tries to ask what she wants, but he cannot talk. It's like he can't even breathe. She stares at him for the last time and then turns around and leaves.
