"Are you okay?" Kai asked as he inspected my body for any signs of bruises.
Bianca was trailing behind me watching us. I had insisted she go home but she wanted to make sure I got to the penthouse safely. She was afraid something might happen along the way.
I appreciated her worry and understood it was coming from a place of concern but I didn't want to be treated as though I was a damsel in distress.
"What did she do? " Zeus asked as he stood beside Kai. He had a worried look on his face and at the same time, he looked angry.
"She didn't do anything. She wanted to hit me with a baseball bat but she was unlucky because Bianca was there to stop her. " I explained.
Kai and Zeus looked relieved at hearing that. They even went to the extent of carrying me to the couch and placing me on it like I was an item.
"I'm fine, "I tried to say but no one was listening to what I was saying.
