I was sitting on my bed reading Alexander's diary as I had been for the past two days. My curiosity to know more was far much greater than my need to live my best life.
How could I live it knowing I was born with a gene for immortality? What if someone tried to kill me and I didn't even know the reason why? Who was I and who were my real parents?
I knew for a fact that Loretta was my sister because our parents had abandoned us at the orphanage. That and the resemblance between us. She had dark hair and green eyes too. So, was she immortal too?
I wouldn't go out into the world until I satiated my curiosity. I was almost done With Alexander's diary and that was a relief because my eyes were starting to hurt. However, the more I read, the more I looked at his journal as a novel.
All those things had to be false. How could one man be that stupid?
