Despite the shock Ceris was silent but her eyes were shining with curiosity to know about the new world.
"I've only arrived here for a little while. I noticed some men following you. Did you commit a crime before you escaped?" Ivy enquired as she was mounted.
Ceris sighed giving no response. It wasn't evident whether Ceris heard Ivy's enquiry or not.
Almost ten days had passed since Ceris had awakened in this strange unknown location but one thing was sure that this place wasn't Country Phoset. She made a trip with Ivy, sometimes riding the horse or on foot. At night, Ivy would materialize the cabin to rest.
Ceris discovered several things on the adventure, but the most significant was knowing that this was a different world from her own: a world of fantasy filled with supernatural creatures. The unclear voice which adviced Ceris before was not heard for the second time so to enquire about the voice went out of Ceris's mind.
On their journey, Ivy turned to be talkative as if she was pouring the heart in the conversation for the first time and from the accumulated information, Ceris deduced that the fantasy world was divided into several parts; the largest and most powerful being the Moonland where they were standing ruled by a powerful Lycan royal and also was head of the alliance formed by the neighbouring lands of Moon Kingdom.
At first, Ceris thought that the disappearance of Ivy's house was probably an illusion but now that point of view was about to collapse. She and Eri were shocked as well as excited, thrilled to know more about this new world.
Unexpectedly Ceris had travelled out of the human world to a fantasy land. Anyone in Ceris situation will be overwhelmed by finding oneself in such circumstances. Moreover, Ceris was fond of fantasy stories with supernatural creatures so she was excited as well as grateful for her one dream coming true.
"Ceris dear, are we really in some magical realm? Is Ivy a supernatural entity? What is she?" Eri was also curious about the new world.
Ceris thought for a while then responded, "It would be disrespectful to directly ask her so let's wait, we may find out soon… Eris baby, I think I'm still dreaming, this all is my imagination, isn't it? This time I am having a wonderful dream instead of a nightmare. Pinch me to tell this is real, we are in a fantasy world. Will this world disappear if I wake from this dream one day?" If Ceris was alone she would have screamed to show her excitement.
"Silly Ce. Hehe... It's not a dream. If you feel pain then how can it be only your imagination? But Ce, why would we travel to a this new world? Does this fantasy world really exist or is an illusion? Do you think there is a big conspiracy waiting for us? My excited heart is a bit scared." Eri lamented spoiling the excitement.
"Why would anyone conspire against us? We aren't any sort of big shots." Ceris rolled her eyes.
"I know but after whatever happened at the full moon night doesn't look like we weren't tricked. Otherwise, why would we have to travel to that damn place also on the day of a full moon? I don't know what expired after the moon came into view but it doesn't feel good from our painful condition when we arrived here." Eri made her stance.
Turning serious Ceris spoke, "Umm...you aren't wrong either. Eri baby, do you think that there is some connection between this world and that gateway forest? Why would they send us there and what benefit will they get? Were they trying to use us as a blood sacrifice as the rumor said? They won't know about this world, right?" Ceris began to worry.
"Don't know, Ce. Maybe they know, maybe not. It is also possible they were treating us as a blood sacrifice. Whatever. But Ce, everyone here has a different kind of power, maybe they have a distinct smell or features too. How are we humans going to survive here?" Noticing the emotional fluctuation in Ceris, Eri changed the topic.
Ceris chuckled. "Eri, you aren't human either. Don't worry we will find a way. Let's survive in this world even if it is real or an illusion. Living the life in the moment is crucial. Whatever comes will eventually come. "
Ceris knew Eri was worried about her emotional fluctuation. Nothing good came out when she was emotional.
"But…but—"
"Eris, maybe it's a mistake for our arrival here. Who knows, after the next full moon, we will return home. If not, at least we both will die together in this fantasy world, isn't it thrilling."
"Who wants to die? I have to find the love of my life, give birth to a few babies and be pampered all my life and live like a Queen. I must be born to rule the world." Eri acted as a narcissist.
"Hehe…hope your dream comes true very soon. I want to play with your cubs too. I don't know who would be the lucky one to charm you, poor fellow…hehe, I didn't know your thoughts were so feminine, dear Eri. Okay, enough with the chit-chat. Let's get to action and we will keep your existence secret for now. So, don't show up without my permission." Ceris spoke with authority.
"As your command, my Lady," Eri muttered.
'Hope you will also find someone who will love you unconditionally, my dear Ceris.' Eri made a silent wish.
Better than anyone Eri knew how lonely and helpless Ceris was with no one to depend on. Her only family was an old man who had adopted her and acted as a source of light in her darkest life but went missing before her 15th birthday. She acted to be strong, nonchalant but deep inside she was weak, innocent like a bunny. Her suffering and nightmares after turning fifteen made her situation much worse. She couldn't sleep or eat well.
Mostly after the no moon and full moon day, Ceris would be wounded or find herself in an embrassing or dire situation. Worst was after the lunar eclipse where Ceris as well as Eri would always be in excruciating pain and both wished for immediate death.
Maybe the creator or the almighty had different plans for both…
