Not having the courage to look more, Eri urged Ceris.
"Ce, I…I found Ivy…but not so good…she is in bad condition. She needs to be rescued soon…"
"Eri, don't panic. Check her condition first. Then, report to me the overall situation in detail. We need a plan, rescuing Ivy without getting us caught." At least one was wise.
The cages were also attached to horses and were far away than Ceris. As they were taking a rest on the way, it got delayed. Ivy was kept in the front cage and the goods were at the last one.
Ceris on her foot, walked without rest for a full day and reached outside of the castle area towards the field where the horse was left before. Luckily, the horse was still there grazing. Riding it, Ceris continued her journey. Only the next day Ceris reached nearby and followed with caution.
The fantasy land or to say the Moon Kingdom was a bit different than Phoset as it wasn't advanced but more like the ancient Earth without scientific invention and technology.
Figuring out the situation and circumstances, they tried to make a rescue plan. If they were in Phoset or had enough resources, they could surprise attack, assassinate or act as a bandit but currently it was impossible. With no guns or bombs or any sort of weapon neither could they fight bare hand with those men, both couldn't find any way so halted the rescue plan and decided to observe for a few days. Who knows how strong they were or what short of power or advantage they had.
The territory through which those cloaked men were travelling was a bit ragged and desolate, not a way normally or usually used.
Suddenly, Eri's voice transmitted in a hurry,"Ce…not good, Ivy needs to be treated soon. Her heartbeat is dropping. Don't know what those bastards have fed her before. She can't wait…"
"What??I …I can't find a plan. We can't be caught while rescuing her. Do you have a way??" Ceris asked in a troubled tone.
"Umm, right. This isn't Phoset either. We have to use the surroundings and keep in mind we are in fantasyland." Eri's mood was also low.
Sighing, "Yeah…hehe(chuckling a bit)…love you babe. I got an idea…
In the evening, the cloaked men stopped to take a rest, using the darkness Eri loosened the cage lock where Ivy was and returned to Ceris.
"Ce, we only have a limited time. I may not be able to help you afterwards. You will be on your own. Will you able to do it?" Eri was tensed for Ceris.
"I know. It's the only chance as Ivy's condition isn't good. Let's do as planned. Are you ready?"
"Hell yeah!!"
In the middle of night, the cage with goods suddenly caught fire. A large black shadow jumped out of nowhere when everyone's attention was to take off the fire. Then the door of the second cage was opened and the first. The girls in the cages began to scream and tried to flee. Using the chaos and distraction, a small, petite figure whose face was masked opened the lower case of the first cage and brought Ivy out. Climbing the back of the big wolf, the petite figure along with Ivy ran out. Only the figure of the wolf was visible to most. Some of the cloaked men followed them immediately.
Running for hours and hours couldn't shake those men. As it was going to dawn, reached a cliff. Those men were about to reach them. At the front was an abyss which was filled with mist, unable to identify how deep it was and at the back were those angry cloaked men.
"Who the hell are you? How dare you grab our prey? You are digging your own grave. You have no chance to escape. Hand over that witch." One of the cloaked men spoke haughtily.
"Why only the witch, let's catch the wolf and the one riding it. Haha…" another one laughed like crazy.
When those men were making their statement, the wolf and the one on its back were also making a conversation.
Panting out loud, "Lady, I don't have much energy, neither can we fight them. If they catch us they may notice we aren't from this land. What are we gonna do?"
"Babes, as we reach this point there is no turning back. I don't think that I will die so soon. Let's go with the flow. I will jump off the cliff and you return back to my body." Anyway, it was filled with risk. It was better than to be caught but those men. Who knows they weren't like the mad scientist back in Phoset.
"But Ce–"
"Shh, no more talking." Petting the wolf's fur, the girl spoke lovingly.
As Ceris was merely conversing, the men were mocking and walking closer to catch, making rude remarks.
Showing a middle finger, Ceris jumped off the cliff with Ivy. Those men were shocked with what happened; never dare to think anyone would jump to that abyss- place like the hell.
No one had the courage to jump nor to catch Ceris and could only watch from the top.
"Ahh, those bitches…how are we going to answer that witch's disappearance to the leader ...Argh…"
"They won't be able to survive for long even if they land safely…let's return back for now. " One of the cloaked men spoke wisely as everyone was burning in rage.
