Wilder woke up the next morning, did a little bit of exercise, took a shower, and left the residential building, where he encountered Noland and a few others heading to the academy bus. Noland of course stopped and gave Wilder the usual sneer and mockery, but that was not what was on of Wilder's minds.
What had happened to Wilder the previous night still had him in a daze. It was so sudden and it happened so fast that he didn't have time to react.
One thing was certain though—he would never forget the bliss as his eyes still shone bright red.
He kept on walking.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
"Oh no, not again," a young man said with a struggle in his expression.
He was thinking whether to run or just stand there.
"Hey, whats up, Liam?" Wilder said with a smile. He had made his way to Liam's house all the way from his apartment building.
"Not again, wilder, my old man will kill me." Liam said with a frustrated facial expression, clearly he knew why Wilder was here, and he wasn't ready to entertain him.
"Come on, cough it up. I don't have all day." Wilder's tone suddenly changed.
This clearly looked like a shakedown.
"i…." Liam was hesitating; he knew why Wilder needed it, but it would get him in trouble if his old man found out, and he didn't want to get scolded.
"Isn't that Lola over there? I totally forgot to tell her about your little crush yesterday; maybe I will be able to do so now since I don't have anything to distract me today." Wilder said While pointing at the end of the street
Lola was the healer of their party in the game, and coincidentally, she was Liam's crush, though they would see each other every day. Liam didn't have the balls to tell her that he liked her, and he would go completely mad if anyone tried to do so, and that was why Wilder was doing this; in fact, she wasn't the one Wilder was pointing to, he was just trying to pass a message.
After a brief moment of struggling
"fine!! If you get caught, then it has nothing to do with me." Liam bellowed angrily while tossing a pair of keys to Wilder.
"A nice friend deserves a hug," Wilder said, leaning in for a hug, but Liam just dodged it and walked away.
"hehe" Wilder rolled the key around his finger as he looked backwards at a huge compound.
This was Liam's home.
Liam's parents were very influential Army officers, and that basically translated as them being loaded in this day and time.
And as for the reason Wilder was here, it was simple: he was here to train.
Liam's father had a training facility inside the compound with the best training equipment Wilder had ever seen, though they were still a bit subpar compared to the ones in the academy.
But they were good nonetheless; after all, the equipment didn't matter; what really mattered was how well he used them.
"Squck," a door slowly opened up, revealing the training facility.
In it were threadmills that could go at very high speeds, inhuman speeds even, and it had a tennis ball shooter right in front of it just to make things a little harder.
There were weights of different shapes and sizes, and the most prominent things there were gymnastics rings.
They were hung all over the place; some were high, others were low; these were used for airborne training. Airborne training had become very important at this time and day because the monsters they would normally face were usually bigger than them
Meaning that they needed to move swiftly while in the air.
"maximum effort" Wilder's voice resounded as he took off his clothes, readying himself for training.
Not long after Wilder got on the treadmill and started running, at first it was a slow jog but soon it broke out into a full run, and at this point Wilder was moving at around 45.99 km/h.
This was even faster than the fastest man on earth during his time, but now it was something an average person could do as long as they could get to the peak human stage.
But this was not Wilder's limit; he continued moving faster and faster, soon reaching 65 km/h. At this point the tennis ball shooters readied themselves and started shooting at high velocities, and Wilder was able to dodge every single one of them with ease.
At this point, what he needed to improve was his endurance.
Time passed slowly, and soon Wilder got on the gymnastics rings and started swinging around, going higher and higher.
This place was quite tall, so much so that Wilder had not even been successful in getting to the very top, no matter how hard he tried.
"Sigh," Wilder sighed. Liam's family was stinking rich; they actually turned such a big place into a gym. He really wished that he could afford something like this one day.
After a long day, the sun reached its peak.
It was noon.
After making full use of the training facility, Wilder made his way out of the compound.
But inside the main house
"cough!!" A lady could be seen looking at a screen in front of her with some admiration; the screen was showing footage of Wilders training secession.

Back at Wilder's residential area
Wilder entered the building; it always seemed desolate for some reason, though Wilder had come to the conclusion that it probably had something to do with the High Heaven game.
It was around the end of the semester, so most students decided to stay home and game, though the same couldn't be said for the students in the special grade.
"Click" Wilder entered his room and took a shower, and after that, he logged into High Heaven.
He didn't have much to do in the real world other than find the Arthur guy that the system told him, but even that had borne no fruit till now, so he put it at the back of his mind for now. He had to focus on getting to the enhanced human stage.
*This is High Heaven.

The void around Wilder started to distort, revealing a small room. After logging inside a camp, players would normally spawn inside their rooms.

Wilder checked his stats and smirked; he needed an additional 5,000 sources to enter level 4.
Leveling up was a big deal in the game, unlike the normal nourishment one could get from sources. Leveling up would possibly double it by refining the body.
"Okay, it's time to head out," Wilder said as he made his way out of the room and into the streets of Jade Beast Town.
The town was as busy as ever, with several people going on quests given by NPCs.
One of the interesting things about this game were the NPCs. They seemed to have a society that did not really revolve around the players; they did their own thing, and some NPCs even gave missions to other NPCs from time to time.
It was truly marvelous as not everyone wanted to be the center of attention.
Wilder started making his way out of the town. The NPCs here looked nothing like the people he had met in the immortal world, so he didn't interact with them for the most part, just exploring the surroundings.
Not long after Wilder made his way out of the town and started jogging towards a distant mountain,
There was something there that he wanted.
After a few minutes of jogging, Wilder finally arrived.
One of the reasons he managed to survive the immortal world was a secluded cave inside this mountain.
At first, he didn't believe that he would find it here, but after scouting the place for a while, he came to the conclusion that it was definitely in this place.
But unlike before, the guardian was still well and healthy.
Wilder found a small shade and sat down. He pulled up his control panel and clicked on the class icon.

Wilder was able to still change classes even though he was at warrior rank; it was a very powerful cheat, and when he found out about this, he grew astatic. All the different classes had their own advantages and could be used to their advantage.
But his most valuable one would be the element of surprise.
Imagine fighting against a knight, and he starts throwing multiple spells at you.
