Loki walked down the staircase and found Rika standing at the side of the open space in front of the registrar. Upon seeing Loki, Rika's face brightened as a gentle smile shaped on her lips.
While on his way toward her, he got a glimpse of the men looking at him with envy in their eyes, which was as expected because he just beat all the adventurers in this guild when it came to ranking and now, he had Rika waiting for him—just like the Ariel and Lian, Rika was a beauty that many of the adventurers could only dream about. Most of them could only stare, but could not approach her, and even if they did, it would not guarantee that they had a chance on her.
And now, they could only watch as Rika looked at Loki with affection in her eyes. An elegant woman from the higher class of the kingdom's hierarchy—a noble lady.
'Dang... I didn't know that seeing the smile of a girl after seeing me arriving felt this good.' Loki thought to himself. He stopped right in front of Rika and just stared at her gem-like eyes.
"How was it?" Rika asked while looking up at Loki.
"It's good. Guild master Rupert and I talked about some important things, especially for being a class S ranked adventurer." Loki replied. "I was given responsibilities, but also privileges. I would say that being a Class S is not bad at all."
"Hmm... I see." Rika slowly nodded.
"Anyway, it's still too early to go home and Milfy knows that you are with me. How about we stroll around the capital? I would like to see the beauty of this place and I haven't had the chance to explore it." Loki suggested.
Rika's eyes brightened up more. "We can do that. I know many great spots in the capital. We can go there and sightsee. What do you think, Loki?"
Loki nodded. "Sounds good." He replied. "Also, I want to buy a new set of clothes. Do you know a good shop selling formal attire? I am used to wearing long sleeves and slacks, but wearing a tunic and blazer is not a bad idea for a change." Loki walked forward while Rika was beside him, both of them were ignoring the eyes of the people watching their every move.
"I do! Let's do that first." Rika excitedly said she walked out of the guild. Her gaze wandered around and proceeded to bounce around. "Let's go to the marketplace first, there are a lot of shops to choose from in that place. However, you should bear with it because there are a lot of people there... Massive crowds."
Loki on the other hand, watched her every graceful move. He put both of his hands inside his sweater jacket's pocket as he followed her on her path. While under the bright sun and walking on the brick floor of the sidewalk, every movement of Rika's eyes, every sway of her red hair and her red fox tail, and every lively smile of her soft lips, all of them were clearly seen by Loki.
'Man, the more I look at her, the more I realize how captivating she is.' He caught up with Rika. Before Rika could jump again, he grabbed her hand using his left hand and gently pulled her toward him.
"Loki?" Rika asked as her flustered eyes darted to Loki, she didn't expect his sudden gesture.
"You are so restless, you are moving around so quickly I am having a hard time keeping up with you. I don't want to lose you in the crowd." He said and put his and her hands inside his sweater pocket. "Now, where are we going next?"
"We can go this way." She said as she pointed in a direction using her other hand. "Oh! We can go to this part—I know a good shop down there."
Loki nodded. "Let's go there then."
Both Loki and Rika traveled into the marketplace of the kingdom, where crowds of people were passing through the road to buy necessities. While traveling through, Loki looked around the stalls and tents erected at the massive roundabout that had gray bricks as floors. On the other hand, at the side of the roundabout where the larger shops stood—most of them had bricks and chiseled stones as walls and roofs.
Each of them sold various things from vegetables, fruits, and flowers to weapons, potions, and even charms made from the body parts of monsters. The shopkeepers were calling at pedestrians passing by, aiming to attract people to their shops.
However, the one infrastructure that got Loki's attention the most was a silhouette of massive infrastructure in the middle of the marketplace. The infrastructure had three peaks that if he didn't look at it enough, he would end up thinking that it was a church. It was not only the biggest infrastructure in the marketplace, but it was one of the largest infrastructure in the entire kingdom—second only to the castle of Satirica itself.
Rika looked at the building Loki was looking at. "That's the Titscorp," Rika answered Loki's unspoken question.
"Titscorp? Isn't that the name of Milfy's company?" Loki furrowed his eyebrows and stared at Rika with confusion. "I thought Milfy's business is flower farm related?"
"Her saying that her business was about flowers was just a simplification," Rika answered. "Lady Milfy would not be one of the most influential people in this kingdom if she was just selling flowers. Although her business revolves around flowers, it offers a lot of things... Perfumes, ointments, beauty products, even clothing, and many more. Lady Milfy is a genius when it comes to her business."
"That's pretty impressive to hear," Loki said and stared at Rika who was staring at the Titscorp building with a bright smile on her face. "And you admire her a lot."
"I do," Rika replied. "Lady Milfy has been trying to train me to take over her company if the time comes and she doesn't have an heir to pass her company... But, it's not my thing."
