They have already been taking for a good 2 hours but they still weren't done.
Claire wanted to move on to the next topic but Johnathan was paying attention to the time.
"I think we need a short break before we learn more. I think Kevin need to use the bathroom," Johnathan threw Kevin under the bus even though he wanted a short break too, to have a chance to process everything.
Kevin couldn't stand it, "Like you have room to talk. I can see your knee shaking over there."
"Let's take a short break then," James was still holding his wife as he said that. He was still trying to comfort her as she was upset about the reason why they were betrayed and how the twins ended up alone by their end.
Sarah sniffles, "Yeah I need a break too to calm down before listening to more. I'm going to make some snacks for us to eat."
She gets up and walks into the kitchen. Her husband went with her to help and keep her company.
Everyone went to either the bathroom or their rooms for a breather.
Claire and Sam were left with each other at the table.
"I guess now is good enough to look into the victims that were attacked and what the hospitals are doing with them," Claire decided as she leaves the room to get her laptop.
It was easier to type on a keyboard than on the phone screen. Claire came back as she looked at the notes she made during lunch at school.
"Claire do you think we should spread the news anonymously? Or is it possible to tell are close friends," Sam was thinking of their brother's close friends at school as well as the adults they befriended.
"I would wait before saying anything. We will add that to the list of things to talk about later." Claire didn't even look up as she answered. "We should look into trustworthy people if we tell anyone. We also need to find people that have special skills."
"I think both Kevin and Johnathan have someone with connections. So that shouldn't be too much of a problem," Sam was leaning his head in his hands as they were talking wishing, he could of helped Claire with hacking into the security of the hospitals.
Claire first tracked the hospital that was used in the massacre. First off the victims that weren't hurt were sent in for examinations and were cleared to be perfectly healthy other than being scared out of their wits.
They were sent off to the police station. That left another place she had to hack into for information.
The people that were bit and or scratched were sent to quarantine in the hospital on the top floor.
As she looked into where the victims were put she realized that the area was tightly secured. With several locked doors and armed guards were posted at each door.
Watching how the doctors and nurses were acting as well as how they would have to check in with each guard to be able to go in or out.
They were taking all precautions from spreading the virus as well as leaks of confidential information.
Sam continued watching Claire as she worked in silence knowing she will tell him when she's done.
The dead that were really dead were sent to a quarantined area in the morgue. The bodies were dissected and blood was sent to be taken as samples for research.
For the most part this was all Claire could look into as she was able to get into the security camaras. The only problem was when she tried to get more information about the victims. There was nothing on the computers like they were documenting everything about them from personal information to the research on paper. Writing everything down, as well as all the papers couldn't be verified with the camaras.
The hospital was doing everything they could to keep the information from turning up.
With Claire typing away and Sam dosing off, everyone started coming back. Their mother and father entered we with plates full of snacks and the older brothers walking in.
They all took their places at the table.
Claire was ablivious to all this as she was focused on the information she was gleaning from her laptop.
A good 20 to 30 minutes passed when She started typing super fast in an almost panic.
She was starting to panic at first but Sam gave her a small push. She was in the database of the police system when she noticed another hacker was tying to track her.
At first she wasn't panicked but everything she did to evade that person didn't work. Going from sending Trojans to making fake tracks to confuse them it didn't work.
When Sam gave her that push, it was just what she need at that moment to calm her down.
Claire gave a breath and started fighting again. This time she tried something different. This time she took a bug and put a codes on it to send a message.
Once it was sent the person stopped tracking her for a short moment and it gave her a window for her escape.
"Are you okay?" Sam gave her another push, "We're you able to escape?"
She nodded, "I was able to get all that I could from the hospitals and was looking in the systems of the police station when someone was tracking me."
"I got away with your help," She gave Sam big smile.
