Chapter 22 - Annie Again

The twins were packing up their stuff and getting ready to leave the room when Annie bulldozed over.

Annie walk right in front of them blocking their way

Sam spoke first, "There's no need to block people Annie. That rude. Please move, if you have something to say say it as we go to our next class."

Annie gave a stomp, "Why didn't you read the note?"

"Who cares about a note? If you have to talk about something you should be able to wait until after class. Besides you owe me an apology for causing me trouble," Claire gave an eyeroll wishing she would go away.

Annie wouldn't give up, "It was important I couldn't wait."

She still wouldn't say what was so important and was blocking them from leaving. Only a minute has passed since the conversation started and the twins wanted to run away from this annoyance.

"You know if it was so important you could of sent a text from your phone and it wouldn't have been seen by the teacher," Claire explained. "You actually have our numbers so a message would of been faster and we would of seen it."

She persevered, "No it wouldn't. You would of just ignored my message. Besides I know you don't like me but you don't have to be cruel."

As she was talking tears started to fall down her cheeks and her voice fell low by the end of her words.

From the start to now there has been a crowd forming. At first not many people were watching, but now there was quite a few people listening and talking.

So far no one has came up to speak up for Annie. It was only a matter of time.

Asperated Sam ran his hand through his hair, "Whatever. Can you tell us what's so important? We would like to go to class before the bell rings."

Claire was pulling Sam as she was inching away around Annie. Why is this girl so annoying. Any time we meet her trouble starts.

Yes she was mostly ill as we were growing up, but she was very healthy now. She won't let go of the passed with being pampered by everyone.

I don't know what to tell her as we end up in a pickle just for refuting her. The only excuse is her being sickly but I think she's just sick in the head.

As Claire was thinking what a hassle she is being, Annie was babbling nonsense trying to stop them from going to class.

As this was going on the intercom came on with the principal.

"Students there has been another incident that took place near the school. The police have informed us to have the school canceled until further notice."

"We have already informed your parents or guardians of this matter. All assignments and final test will be done by the internet, so be prepared to check your email from your teachers."

"If all goes well we will be able to have classes soon but if not I hope you all have an amazing vacation before the next year."

Once the principal was done talking there was a short silence before the students started cheering as they wouldn't have to attend class.

Claire and Sam looked at each other as they knew that it could of been another attack from the zombies.

Sam said, "We're going to have to talk to the others before we leave today or we won't get another chance."

Claire nodded.

They both started walking away not paying any attention to Annie leaving her to stomp her feet in anger.

"I hope this is the last time we ever see her again. If we meet I'm going to kill her."

"Sam stop talking about her we have more important things to do. Go send a message to Levi and Sunny to meet in the nurses office. I'll send a message to our brothers were we will be."

"Fine." Sam gives a pout as he pulls out his phone to message their friends.

Once the message was send not long after they both messaged back. 'We'll see you there.'

The two took the long way as they didn't want Annie to follow. Since the principal called the school done for the day they didn't have to worry about classes. They took their time and made some small talk as they walked.

They finally arrived at the nurses office. Inside the room there was Ms. May at her desk reading some medical journal.

Not only was she there but Levi and Sunny were there as well sitting at the table talking as they waited for the twins.
