There was so many more questions Misty wanted to ask Kinny and Kelsea, but the start of the ritual came faster than she thought it would. She entered the courtyard with the bonfire to discover that it had been transformed during her baths. People sat facing a stage and mana stones lit up walking paths.
Misty searched for her mates in the darkness and found them not too far away. She smiled at them and took her seat. There were three people who were going to dedicate themselves to the temple today.
A sultry priest with dark hair came over holding a tray with three knives on it. Misty couldn't seem to tear her eyes away from him. He allowed each of the ritual participants to select a knife. Tearing her eyes away from yet another beautiful man, Misty couldn't help feeling confused as she looked down at the blade.
"It is for the ceremony." Jay had snuck up beside her causing Misty to jump.
"What am I supposed to do with it?"
