The rest of the ceremony was uneventful. After the basin glowed bright, Misty's time with Tamult lasted barely a moment. However, the chests of the priests now had lotus tattoos on them glowing faintly in the light of the fire.
Misty was whisked away by a priestess to the dedication room where Jay and Kason were waiting for her. Both welcomed her with affection before looking back to the stage where the priests were finishing the ceremony.
"I'm glad you came and talked to me before the ceremony started." Jay looked over to Kason and smiled.
"It was Kason's idea. We would never guess the will of Tamult, but he thought that there must be a reason you had to do the dedication ceremony." Jay led her to a chair that looked out over the bonfire. Kason sat on the bed while Jay pulled over a stool to sit on.
