Chereads / Carnival of Life: Human King Arankar / Chapter 2 - 4th Connection

Chapter 2 - 4th Connection

Earth 2033,

On top of the tallest mountain on Earth manifested a thirty meters tall golden portal that was fifty meters wide.

Shortly afterward, King Aranker calmly floated out of it, his gaze was serene yet full of curiosity.

But it was not long before he met the natives.

A golden light was coming towards him, tearing through the splendor spread by the morning's rising sun.

The golden light stopped twenty meters from King Aranker, revealing a handsome man in his late twenties with dashing golden hair and blue eyes.

He wore a golden-blue heroic armor, and a golden sword rested behind his back.

However, he was slightly stunned upon looking at Arankar. 'Why these powerful beings from other worlds are always so handsome and majestic?'

"I have reached the location, and everything is fine. The higher energy being is still calm," Adrian muttered as his voice passed through the microphone and reached Falcon Guild.

"Adrian? Tsk. Your response is as quick as always."

A beautiful woman wearing a dark red witch outfit emerged from the black portal, not too far from Adrian.

"I was near," Adrian replied with a calm smile. 'Witch Maria. Why is my nemesis already here?' he wryly thought.

King Aranker watched those humans whose physiques fairly resembled his but were so fundamentally different. He was filled with a thirst to know everything here more.

He instantly learned their language from the primary thought intention that he read from those two people and understood the situation.

'So, they are here for me.'

Suddenly, he was surprised to sense many more presences coming to this location one by one.

Some arrived while riding swords, others on brooms, and many came using their mystical wings of various kinds.

But all of them were high-level humans who had gained power in the past ten years.

"Just one high-energy being? I am not interested in him, so I'll go ahead and explore this," said a tall, muscular man with a full-back dragon tattoo and a bare upper body.

He floated in the air without any support, seemingly as if the wind itself held him.

Grinning at Arankar, he flew past him and entered Arankar's World.

A light of understanding dawned on Arankar. 'So my world was connected to this world. However, it's not a rare phenomenon in this world.'

"Bald Tango already went ahead! Let's go!"

A group of people flying on swords and wearing similar uniforms also flew over Aranker, entering his world.

"Umm… Hello. Can you understand me? My name is Honoka."

Arankar turned to the source of the sound and saw a girl with round glasses. She had a big bust covered by a soft light gray sweater and a black knee-sized skirt on the bottom.

'What kind of creature is this?' Arankar thought, surprised.

He had never seen a human female before, so the physical aspect of Honoka's chest was startling to him.

He quickly scanned her body and noted the difference, becoming even more surprised. He turned to Witch Maria as well. 'This one is the same but has a smaller chest.'

'Interesting. They are physically divided like those animals in my world.'

"I can understand your words, Honoka. You can call me Aranker."

All other powerhouses of Guilds that stayed there felt the situation under control upon seeing that Arankar was truly calm and started entering the bridge portal.

Only five people remained, including Honoka.

"Hi, Mr. Arankar, I am Jack from Flamepillar Guild."

"Hello, Senior from another world, I am Lee from Flowing Fist Guild."

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Arankar, I am Adrian from Falcon Guild."

Lastly, Maria smiled and introduced herself.

"I am Maria from DarkRose Guild. It's my pleasure to meet someone as flawless as you."

'They are intriguing,' thought Arankar as he felt amused because he had never experienced something like this…

'So they call it formal introduction… I see.'

King Arankar gradually learned things at the enjoyable and serene pace he wished for himself. After all, he didn't want to produce his self-devouring darkness again by learning everything new quickly and becoming bored again.

"Nice to meet you all as well," Aranka replied with a faint smile and slightly narrowed eyes, instantly dazzling all five powerhouses.

'Ah, I need to suppress myself even more. They are a bit too weak,' Arankar internally frowned and sealed most of his power, bringing himself near the same level of existence source as these five in front of him.

Those five powerhouses snapped out of their daze and looked at each other, awed.

They understood this was yet another otherworldly being that was way more powerful than them, to be able to entrap them just by his aura.

'His presence pressure is the same level as that Vampire God Alucard,' Adrian thought, fear filling him up, but he quickly calmed down.

He was lucky to see Vampire God Alucard when the third bridge portal opened two years ago. That was why he knew Earth had to add one more forbidden entity to its list!

"Mr. Arankar, If you do not mind, can I scan your power level?" Maria asked, her eyes dancing with slight madness.

Hearing her, the four wanted to curse and beat her, but they looked at Arankar, waiting for his reaction.

"Power level? No matter. Go ahead."

Arankar nodded, gesturing with his hand as he understood the intention.

All five quickly activated their inspection skills and checked Arankar's status.

[-Lifeform rank: Legendary]

'Can only see Lifeform rank, eh? But Legendary… that's bull shit,' Lee thought as he narrowed his eyes. 'He must have suppressed his power.'

Cupping his fist at Arankar, Lee politely said, "Mr. Arankar, I would like to invite you to Flowing Fist Guild as an honorary member. We provide full knowledge courses and everything there is to enjoy in our world and the other three fantasy worlds that are connected here."

The other four cursed in their heads and quickly extended their invitation to Arankar.

However, Arankar chuckled and shook his head. He clearly understood these creatures' intentions. 'Wait, they called themselves humans.'

'This world is lively and full of secrets I am unaware of. Secrets of Life… Fascinating.'

"You five may leave me alone and enter my world like others if you wish to," Arankar said with a serene smile and closed his eyes.

A second later, he vanished.

"Wait!" Adrian shouted, but it was too late.

"I had a feeling he would reject us," Lee said with a bored expression before flying into the bridge portal of Arankar's world.

"I'll go explore this new world."

"Haha, I am coming as well."

Jack of Flamepillar Guild activated his skill as the small pair of blazing wings behind him expanded into ten meters of wingspan and also flew into the portal.

Adrian wryly smiled and shook his head. "I want to go but have to attend a meeting in the Dawn Kingdom of Battle Spirit World after an hour."

Battle Spirit World was the first one that connected to Earth.

"Then get going, shoo."

Maria shooed him before she also entered the Arankar World.

After Adrian and Maria left, more people started arriving on top of Mount Everest.

The first to arrive was a level 297 male Elf. Lifeform rank: Epic.

"This planet Earth is getting more intriguing. It connected to yet another world," the Elf muttered before materializing his beautiful wings and entering the bridge portal.

Many other humans and people of different fantasy races soon arrived and entered the bridge portal.
