Chapter 5 - Amused King

"My request… I haven't thought of it yet. Let's return to Adventurer Hub first, umm, if you are fine with it," Agatha said, nervously rubbing her fingers.

"Yes, I shall follow you until we finish my proposal," Arankar said with a nod while his eyes quickly scanned everyone's body deeply.

'I should adopt a normal human body to live for my birth process.'

"Yeah. We should get to know each other more, right? Ha..ha," Agatha said, releasing a nervous laugh.

"Ahem. So, are we returning to find the dungeon or party over?" Lucas asked, his right hand raised.

"What is Dungeon?" Arankar curiously asked.

His question stumped others; even three years old these days knew what a dungeon was.

"A dungeon is a small world that generates randomly on Earth. They started appearing when the first bridge portal connected here," Agatha explained.

"I see," Arankar nodded, and based on her description, he searched the area around him and quickly found a few spots that matched what Agatha said.

"The nearest one is there," Arankar said, pointing at the cave's entrance that got buried a short while ago.

"How did you know? We went inside to reach the dungeon portal with this device, but then this Bear woke up, and we had to leave."

Agatha told Arankar about what happened as she took out an item from her storage box.

The item was a palm-sized scepter with a thumb-sized crystal attached to it.

"This item is called dungeon reader. If a dungeon entrance is nearby, it will start pulsing with a white glow."

"If you all want to go to that dungeon first, I can open up a path," Arankar said with a faint smile before he pointed his hand at the cave.

Everyone turned to the cave and saw with wide eyes as all snow and rocks started vanishing until a path to the dungeon portal formed!

The straight path showed a blinking gray mist at the end that hid a crystalized red gate with blue patterns and faint purple lighting crackling over the fog and gate.

Agatha's eyes instantly shone. "This dungeon entrance has lightning crackling as well. I might be able to get a stronger lighting skill here."

Agatha had Lightning affinity, so she was eager to enter this dungeon.

"Then let's go there."

Arankar said with a laugh and, with a thought, teleported everyone in front of the dungeon entrance.

'He can even teleport others?!'

Everyone was alarmed. Teleporting oneself was already very rare, even for Legendaries. But this guy could also teleport others with such ease. More importantly, that path he created was absurd as well. They hadn't seen any legendary powerhouse capable of doing that.

"Should we enter now?" Arankar asked upon seeing everyone in a daze and not moving.

"No!" Ramon shouted in panic, attracting a confused glance from Arankar.

"I-I mean…" Ramon almost shat his pants if not for Agatha.

"We need to check the dungeon's grade first," Agatha somberly said as she pointed the dungeon reader at the lightning-crackling crystal gate.

The thumb-sized crystal on the dungeon reader started changing colors.

From white, it became red. Then orange.

Then yellow.

Then Green.

And then Blue before stopping at a darker blue hue.

"No! Damn it!" Agatha moaned in dismay.

Others also sighed and shook their heads.

"What's the matter? Why suddenly mood down?" Arankar bluntly asked seeing their change.

'"Dark blue glow means that this dungeon is for Legendaries. So, only people above level 500 can enter in dark blue portals," Agatha said with a wry smile. Her eyes were filled with disappointment.

"Phew, at least we are alive on this crazy day," Ramon said as he sighed in relief. "Since our journey is over, let's return."

"But Mr. Arankar can enter if he wishes to," Milo suggested. "He doesn't look like a normal Legendary powerhouse."

"No!" Agatha said, frowning at Milo. "In Dark blue portals, all below level 800 go in parties."

"You don't need to go inside," Agatha said as she grabbed Arankar's hand. "Let's return."

"Yeah, Mr. Arankar. You shouldn't go alone," Lucas said, nodding in agreement.

"Do you get some valuable things if you enter the dungeon?" Arankar asked as something dawned on him.

From their disappointment, he felt that this so-called dungeon must be hiding some things capable of attracting them, like that skill Agatha mentioned, and that was why they were previously excited.

But unable to enter and get the treasures, they became disappointed.

"Dungeons have many types of loot. First of all, you can kill monsters to level up and progress. Some monsters also drop rare skills and other magical items. You can also find hidden treasure and solve other mechanisms to find some magical items."

"Lastly, all dungeons have a final boss; if you find and kill it, you are guaranteed great loot."

Agatha explained before tightening her grip on Arankar's hand. "But you shouldn't go inside this dungeon. Dark Blue means at least a party of three to five legendaries."

"All Guild leaders will be interested since they are always looking for Dark Blue dungeons and epic quests in other worlds," Rose muttered before taking out her mobile phone. "I am informing our guild."

Milo nodded, letting his wife send the message.

"I'll also send this location's coordinates to ShatterScar Guild," muttered Martin as he took out his mobile phone. 'I hope they can take me back.'

Lucas and Milo also took out their phones and sent coordinates to their respective Guilds' communication channels.

"It's soon going to be very busy here," Agatha said with a rueful smile. But she also took out her phone and sent coordinates to her Divine Thunder guild's communication channel.

Arankar understood the whole matter and felt amused.

Lightly chuckling due to finding the situation funny, he said, "I understand everything now, leave it to me."

Walking away from Agatha and turning to the dungeon entrance, Arankar said with a faint smile, "Since you cannot enter, wait here."

Arankar promptly vanished into the dungeon entrance, leaving others dumbfounded again.
