It did not take us long to get to the beach; it was a good thing there was no traffic. I had also been watching Skye as she drove; I am still unsure of her true identity, and if she really was a reaper like Vic, she might try to kill me whenever she has the chance.
Skye seemed much more excited than I was to be at the beach. She is like a child that is jumping and hopping around and playing tag with the waves. This is an opportunity for me to get to know more about her, especially what she does. Hopefully, her tongue will slip when I start asking about herself.
"It has been a long while since I've been at the beach! All I do is work these days; I almost forgot that feelings like this exist."
'Feelings like this exist'. What does she mean by that? No human would say something like that, though, right? Does this really mean that Skye might be a reaper?
