/Eliana's POV/
Our morning started pretty well. The maid cooked a nice and simple breakfast for us, and now all of us are gathered to enjoy our meal. The table was silent. Marco tried to crack a joke, but all of us were busy listening to our problems.
"Mommy, do you know Luca and Bellina are invited to perform for the national middle school competition?" said Marco, swinging his legs on the chair.
"Really?" I turned my head to the girl who is focusing on her food, "Why didn't you tell me, sweetie?"
"I forgot," her eyes were still on her plate.
"Bella, it's a big thing. I'm so proud of you," I got off my chair to hug her.
"You know, Luca's Mommy and Daddy are coming to see him perform," she said, inside my chest.
"Darling, your Mama will be there too, I promise," Alessandro, who didn't hear our conversation, tried to ease her mind.
"I know that," she lowered her head, "What about you, Mommy?" she faced me, "Won't you promise to bring Daddy?"
