Staring at the huge glass that stood in front of him, Alessandro impatiently waited for his wife's arrival. From his last encounter with Eliana, he knew that Paula thought that he had an affair with her sister. He couldn't wait to clear things with her. Not long after, a girl sat in front of him. Confused, he picked up the phone that hung on the wall, and so did she.
"Is everything okay?" he tried to look at her covered face.
"Yeah," letting out a nervous chuckle, she answered. "I just fell, and I look disgusting,"
"What?! Did you go to a hospital?!"
"Y. . . Yeah," she scratched her ear, avoiding eye contact with him.
"Paula," his voice was low, "Remove the mask!" he commanded, worry taking over his body.
"No, I look—"
"I don't care! Take it off!" he clenched his jaw, making her flinch. She slowly took her mask off. But still didn't dare to meet his eyes. "Look at me,"
"I'm looking at you," her head was low.
