Adeline watched as Abbot and the surveillance team entered John's house.
Abbot walked around the home taking pictures of everything he could for evidence. On the fridge he noticed that one of the children's drawings matched the imprint that they took off the note he wrote Adeline. The cameras were set up quickly.
"We're all done ma'am. Leaving now" Abbot told her over the mic.
"Good work Abbot" Adeline smiled down the mic.
The team left without any trace that they were there.
Later that day
"Ma'am his eldest, Alexis, has cut school. She's heading into town" Abbot told her over the mic.
"Follow her. We need to see if she leads us to John" Adeline ordered. They followed her as she went into town to a cheap, run down hotel.
"Ma'am there's a room booked for a John Smith. What should we do?" Abbot asked.
"Bring Alexis in, take whatever evidence you can" Adeline ordered, listening to the girl trying to fight off the officers unsuccessfully until she was taken in custody.
