Adeline walked into her office and came face to face with Dr Hale.
"Adeline" he smiled.
"Dr Hale" Adeline let out an almost silent sigh.
"Do you have a minute to talk?" He asked.
"Our conversations never last a minute" she reminded him.
"They do when your unwilling to talk" he reminded her.
"How have you been?" She asked, sitting at her desk.
"I've been very well thank you. How are you?" He asked.
"I'm fine. I'm always fine" she said defensively.
"Except your not. You feel more than most. You experience more than most" he said.
"I'm fine" she said.
"It's been a while since we spoke last. When Jack called me I was surprised that you had agreed to meet with me. What have you been up to?" Dr Hale asked her.
"I've been busy. Working" she told him.
"I'm sure you remember that I can't help you if you don't talk to me" He tried.
