Adeline entered the interrogation room, not looking at John until she had her notes out in front of her.
"Your daughter is sweet" Adeline told him.
"Yes she is. She's untouched by the harsh realities of the world" John replied.
"By harsh realities do you mean, you? She knows about you. About what you've done" Adeline told him.
"You told her?" He asked, his hands turning into fists on the table.
"I would never hurt her like that. She found out for herself" Adeline told him, watching as his hands softened back on the table top "Alexis is being placed under house arrest for attempting to destroy evidence" Adeline told him but he didn't react "Was Molly Stone the first woman you murdered? Are there other victims? Ones that we don't know about?" Adeline asked.
"No. Molly was the first" he admitted.
"The first person you murdered?" Adeline asked.
