Safia stared at the lycan's bloodshot eyes. Thus, with shaking hands she reached out to him. She clenched her teeth, and stilled her heart as she mustered courage.
Wrapping her arms around the white lycan's waist, inch by inch she came closer to him.
Austin didn't move, his eyes followed every moves of Safia, as if he was waiting to see what that small girl would do next. He even slightly bent his body over for Safia, so she could reach her easily.
Once Safia got an assurance that the lycan wouldn't hurt her, or suddenly became aggressive, she rested her head in his soft and warm fur. Tears slipped from her closed eyes as she tightened her arms in relief.
" I want to go home....". Safia whimpered and sniffled. She had gone through a lot of unpleasant things and now she felt exceptional exhausted.
Under Safia's embrace, the soft fur on the lycan's dissipated , and as the sound of the dislocating bones was heard. The lycan transformed into his handsome human form.
Sturdy arms held Safia's fragile body firmly, as he caressed her back.
" Yes, let's go home". Austin signed in relief when the scent of the sweet ground after rain invaded his senses. He didn't no why he always had that scent filled in his nose anytime he get close to Safia. It seems like it was the only scent that could appease his beast.
On the other side, Kash watched in shock how easily it was for Safia to calm the outraged Alpha that had lost his temper, with only a simple hug.
[Lan] Kash mind linked Lan while looking at Austin who was carrying Safia away in his arms, stepped out from the scene he just witnessed.
[You won't believe this.... Safia has just tamed the angry beast with a simple hug!..] He said in amazement.
There was no response from Lan for a while, before his finally tried and relief voice was heard.
[Where are they now?] He asked him for he was shock himself. He was the Alpha Beta so whenever the Alpha got angry, he also become angry so he wasn't in the mood for jokes at that time. He had already tried all he could to stopped those human gossipers from entering into the building to witness the unsightly thing that just happened.
[ I think they're heading home. I have informed the others to fetch them at the entrance] Kash said.
[Kash, I need you to stay here. I will go with them]. Lan ordered. Upon hearing that, Kash abruptly rejected it. [No... wait! They Alpha has just killed a guy here, if someone walks through this corridor, the situation will become messy] . He whined.
Kash really didn't like to deal with those kinds of things. Usually Lan would take over for something like that.
[Just clean up! And don't forget the CCTV]. Ignoring Kash's complaint, Lan kept giving Instructions to the Gamma... with that being said, Kash raised his head and looked straight to the two CCTV cameras that were hanging above his head.
Great!..
Another unpleasant job for Kash!
Kash inner self grumbled. He saw that man's horrible body, and quickly got reminder about what he had done towards Safia. There was no slightly pity in his eyes for the dead man.
That man deserved it! He would do the same if someone was hurting his savior.
Talking about when Safia saved Austin the other day.
***
Once Safia felt Austin's presence, she knew that she was safe with him.
Austin carried her along the way to the car, and said only soothing words into her ears as if the dreadful things that just happened on the corridor was only a dream, one of her hideous nightmares.
Safia was exhausted, mentally and physically to catch up with the contents of the conversation between Austin and Lan inside the car.
As the cold droplets of the rain hit the roof of the car, and the warm blanket that wrapped around her body felt so comfortable, also with the feeling of Austin being close to her, Safia ended up dozing off and then fell asleep.
" No need to go to the hospital, call the doctor to come to the house... because since those creatures has gotten to know my presence with this girl, they will never leave her". Austin ordered Lan in a low voice, as he absentmindedly ran his fingers on Safia's bruised forehead. Was he really getting on cool with that girl? Was that a feeling of love? His inner self asked as he drifted his attention towards the peaceful rain fall.
Lan immediately raised his phone and made a quick phone call to someone, while waiting for the call to go through, he glanced at Austin through the rearview mirror.
Was that what love can really do? Lan asked himself and looked away.
